Walmart & Toys R Us Ads Confirm $50 Xbox 360 Price Cut

Big thanks to CAGs DX and Ugamer_X (with an assist from zewone) who have shared images of the August 12 Sunday ads for Walmart and Toys R Us. These ads confirm the Hollywood Reporter's scoop that a $50 price cut would begin in early August. Currently, it is uncertain if the $50 price cut is only valid for the $400 Premium system. We will update you here as we learn more. UPDATE: Joystiq has the Circuit City ad from 8/12 showing the Core system will drop to $280, the Premium to $350, and the Elite will hit $450. |
