Production numbers

Does anyone know of a website that lists how many copies of a game were produced? That would be an invaluable resource...

It's very difficult to get production numbers or units sold. You can find numbers floating around (i.e. Disgaea 70,000; Tales of Legendia 25,000) but these numbers should be taken with a grain of salt.

Tales of legendia- I've seen a LOT of these floating around...

Disgaea - Rare, but no where near 70,000

Are these numbers just random numbers you used as an example or did you really hear these numbers?

I've actually seen these numbers quoted as units sold. Don't know how accurate they are, but they seem to at least be in the ball park. A decent selling mainstream title can move 250,000-300,000 units. Disgaea and Tales of Legendia are not mainstream.
