I found copies of both at local shops just the other day. I didn't pick up either, but I know there was quite alot of interest shown in the documentary about MGS 2 last time it was mentioned on here.

Here's the locations of both these items, just up the street from each other:

Trading Post on South Main St.(wilkes barre, PA): This shop has the Document of MGS 2 on sale for $9.00.

The Video Game Store(Wilkes-Barre, PA): This shop has Magic Pengel for PS2 UNOPENED for $16.00.

I'm not sure if either of these are deals or not, but I just thought I'd list them in case anyone on here is looking for them.

BTW, I snagged a copy of Mr. Mosquito at the other Trading Post store(Steamtown Trading Post) on Wyoming Ave. in downtown Scranton for $8.43.

I'll give it a whirl in a day or two and if I don't like it, it'll be up for trade here.

Anyone else have any NEPA game deals that they'd like to add?

UPDATE: Toys R Us on Route 6 in Dickson City has ONE PS2 HDD with FFXI for sale, marked down to $39.99. They had it on the counter by the registers in the R Zone.

Of course, this store also has copies of Star Wars Episode I Phantom Menace on VHS in 'collectors packs' still marked @ $24.95. LOL

Document of MGS 2 is a great deal at $9, espically since it gets $30ish on Ebay.

See, thats what I thought, Roufuss, but I wasn't sure really. And, I've never seen too many copies of Magic Pengel, let alone one that's sealed.

Then again, its at the same shop I grabbed a copy of Mad Maestro about a month ago for $10 sealed.

When I haven't been buying the Kmart clearance games or trying to grab one or two of the $8.96 CC games, I've been getting my games from that shop. The guy has better prices than most and is usually willing to go down a bit on price for most items.

Hell, his shop is the only one I've ever seen a copy of Crime Life:Gang Wars(with the members of the rap group D12 in it).

It's always Steve and Warren(African-American guy with dreadlocks) working there when I go into The Video Game Store, Dustwalker.

I'm assuming that's the store you're talking about, the one that's closer to Boscov's.

I should ask Steve for his Ebay name, as he is always talking about Ebaying something or other, though sometimes I think it's just lots of dead PS2 systems.

Oh, and before I forget, he had a copy of the guide for Silent Hill 3 in store there also. He usually sells most guides for $3.

Omg yea it was steve I meant. I knew him back when I lived in shavertown. Before he had that store he used to sell at a flea market type deal in west wyoming I used to work at. Sold the man alot of stuff round two years two ears ago. Good man was always fair. Actually he bought one of my busted ps2's.

LOL I made someone an offer that was a buck higher than what Warren offered someone on a PS2 memory card the one night while I was standing there.

I figured, I needed/wanted another memory card but I didn't want to pay $25-30 for one.

Hell, I was just in his shop again late last week, didn't get anything this tim(for the first time in about 5-6 months), but someone else was trading in a crapload of stuff that day too.

They were trading in 2 busted systems, a shitton of games and a bunch of peripherals, including 2-4 memory cards.

The one day, some guy came walking in with a Mongoose or Huffy bike for sale, looked to be in great shape. Warren paid him about $10-15 for it, the guy took the offer and left with the cash.

I may stop down his shop and try to do a 1 for 1 trade for his copy of Silent Hill 3's guide, which I saw there last time. Mind you, I need the GAME first, but eh, minor detail. LOL

EDIT: Actually Dustwalker, he has mentioned SOME sort of flea market he sells at. But I could SWEAR he said its in Plymouth. Although, where could there be a flea market in Wyoming? The old Bon Ton store......or??? He did sell at the Circle Drive In flea market on Rt. 6 for a while and I think he wanted into the one in Eynon but the owner keeps denying him.

I think ya did, Squall, because a little bit after you(or whichever CAG it was) left to go check out DVDs, I found a copy of Monster Hunter in the bin.

I was going to offer it to you, since I'm sure someone else on CAG would surely play it, unlike me.

I tried it on my PStwo slim and unfortunately because of the poor picture on the older tv I have down where i have my PStwo, all the names of places in the game are fuzzy.

So, unless I can find the 'town chief' in the first town, I can't even get OUT of the town. LOL

Speaking of games I've tried but haven't played much of, I still have my copy of Mr. Mosquito I found at Steamtown Trading Post in downtown Scranton. I tried it the other night, its an interesting game, but the intro is a bit long winded.

Any other CAGs locally who may go to The Video Game Store in Wilkes-Barre, like I do?
