question about no receipt return policy for the following stores

I got the South Park 7 DVD set as a gift and would like to return it to [ preferably ] Best Buy or Circuit City for store credit/gift card. [ because it retails for 39.99 at both stores ]

Any one know what the return policy is for gifts w/no receipt is at these stores?

i think both stores need recepts to prove you got it there.... i would say keep it till the day after xmas and return it. any store will take it back that day LOL

Why do you want to return it? Season 7 was a Great season. There is no mention of returns without receipt..because there is NO returns without receipt. You may get lucky an get someone to do that, but without a receipt, you won't get anywhere.

At least try Bestbuy...I recieved Star Wars Battlefront for a gift and returned it their without a receipt last week, but mine did have a best buy sticker on it so that probaly helped.

I'm really sorry to start the flames, but keeping silent on the truth implies acceptance.

You should not knowingly take advantage of any store's generous return policy, regardless of how deep their pockets are or how "stupid" their choice in policy is, or how sad your story of how you got "stuck" with a $40 box set is.

If you actually got the set at one of those retailers, try to return it there if they will take it back. Otherwise I recommend you keep the DVD's or resell them.

Target and Walmart is fine I was in the customer service line and some lady brought 5 pair of clothes without receipts. Target cut back the returns to 2 per yr without receipt now. :lol:
