Anyways I'll be at the Guitar Hero 3 midnight launch at the Regency Best Buy this Saturday since the Blanding store isn't having one. I'll be rocking the CAG bracelet.

Well I went to four Kmarts today. Two on Blanding and one on Normandy. and the one on Beach. Found alot of Kameos at the Orange Park one. Bought Perfect Dark Zero at the other Blanding Kmart for 4.90, two more left. The Normandy one was the only Kmart that acually looked like a store and not an indoor flea market. Every clearance game was labeled. They had Children of Mana DS, Baiten Kaitos Origins 10.00 and alot of EA sports games, mainly basketball. Nothing of note at the one on Beach.

Gamestop carries them used for $17.99. Good luck finding one though. There are some GSs around town that have a lot of used accessories. One of the stores in Fleming Island have a surplus of used controllers, cables, etc. They even have those Street Fighter controllers for $5 new. There's a PS2 Ryu and 2 Xbox Guiles last time I went there.

We have some in stock at Game Over!, pre-played for 14.95. Don't know if you live on the northside or not, seems to be the problem with our location in Yulee, its a drive for most people here.
If your not in a hurry though and if it would be more convienient, I can bring one down to Pecan Park on Saturday for ya. Just call the store and we'll put in in the DM (Dirt Mall:lol:) bin to take out there. The number is 904-548-1133.

I must say that I appreciate all the kind words from everyone who has checked out the store.
Sying, I know the website sucks, we're trying to work on that now. Hopefully in the next few months we'll have it where we want it to be. Getting the database from out point of sale system to work with the website has been a snag, but we're working out the kinks slowly but surely. Eventually the website will mirror the stock on-hand in the store. Its just going to take some time that unfortunately we don't have right now with Xmas coming up. And of course we're not a big corporate giant who can put 100 people aside to work on one thing.

We will be getting our discount cards soon, good for 10%. I know that is GSish, but unfortunately they have burned that into every average consumers head that you have to buy a $5 card to get a good deal. However, in support of the CAG community, if you find yourself in our neck of the woods, just mention CAG and get 10% any pre-played games or accessories. Once we get the cards in, we'll give any CAGs one for free, just ask.

Also, just another shameless plug. If there's any artists checking this out, we're having a "Design our Mascot" contest. The art has to be of non-trademarked or copyrighted material. It can be subitted in any format you prefer, pencil, inks, adobe (preferred), .jpeg, bmp, even crayon if you want. We'll pick the winner on 1/1/08. The winning design will get a Guitar Hero III bundle of their choice or equal store credit if you've already snagged one on a CAG deal!!

Was down at Avenue's Mall doing some Xmas shopping and hit up the BB there for Lost Season 3 on Blu-Ray. That was on sale for $64.99, pretty good deal. I got there about 10 minutes before closing and they were setting up for a sale starting tomorrow (on 12/14/07) managers special was Halo 3 LTD Ed 360 systems for $349.99. Had a sign on them that stated "This Location ONLY"They only had about 15 piled up. An awsome deal for someone who wanted this version at the normal premium price.

Its pretty bad this holiday season. I was at the neptune store and the whole store was employed by Providince School kids, and managed by someone barely out of HS. Jeez it literally took 30 minutes to buy a av cable and there was only one person in front of me...

If you're interested, I suppose you could send it into EA to get a new one. They're asking $35 for it. The whammy bar is broken and the neck is slightly cracked, so that might be too much damage for EA to fix for free.

As a former employee of the now-closed Beach and University Blockbuster, I know no other stores were renting DS games in Jacksonville as of November 2007.

Just FYI,
I visited Target stores in Oakleaf, Wells Rd, San Jose and Regency and each store had at least 1 wii if anyone is looking. Wal-Mart Fernandina has like 10.
Also, Target San Jose had 2 Guitar Hero for PC & Mac for $55.99.

I am trying to find some of these "deals" I have seen on here at Target and Best Buy, but our stores don't seem to mark down too much.

The Target in St. John's Town Center has around 10 copies of The Simpsons for PS3 for $12.48. They're on an end cap behind the VG section, facing the TV's. They also have plenty of copies of Motorstorm (think they were about $25) and Lair (same price).

You can get Crackdown for $9 on the Microsoft Retail ExpertZone site. That's the best deal I've seen on it, but it's only $20 used at Gamestop anyways.

They'll be adding more of my games throughout the summer.

K-Mart apparently has the XBox 360 "Vision Pack" (Gold annual XBL membership and webcam) for $20 clearance if you can find it. At least that is what I have seen on other threads. Fernandina store doesn't have any, so I can't confirm.

I'm not saying the game doesn't have replay value, but it can be beaten in 8-10 hours. If you weren't planning on keeping the game and you have the time to allocate over the course of 5 days, you might want to consider just renting it.

This is off topic but I just figured I'd share a recent experience with fellow Jax Cagers.

I bought Wipeout Pulse at the Town Center Gamestop a couple days ago and then as noted in my post two above, I found it at Best Buy for 75% off. So anyways, I'm getting to a point here...

I figured the Regency Mall is a little closer to me so I'd just take it back to the Gamestop there and check out their selection to see if they had a couple games I wanted. What a huge mistake! Regency Mall is one of the most depressing places I've ever entered in my entire life.

The mall is filled with so many wannabe gangsters and pregnant 18 year olds that my stomach began churning almost immediately. It was like a swift kick in the balls that helped me remember why the Republican Party exists. I've mainly been in Gainesville for the past year so I really hadn't been exposed to the Regency Mall except maybe once before and it wasn't as bad then.

Is anyone else just completely disgusted with that place? No one was buying anything, it was just a social gathering. There was an air of desperation in the Gamestop near the food court. I heard both employees make the same jokes everytime to each person, refusing in a humorous to assist them in whatever they requested. Then I got to experience the B.O. of every individual in there, massive obesity filling the cramped aisles, and bizarre tales of pawning systems becuase he needed money only to be browsing for more games.

I'm never going back.
