Anyways, I hit two Rhinos yesterday (3rd St / Kernan) and walked away with Metal Slug 4/5 (Xbox) for $9.50 and The Suffering:Ties that Bind (xbox) for $4.50, both new. Nothing for PS2 had really gotten a big markdown yet but here are a few more titles I spotted:

King of Fighters 02/03 (Xbox) - $9.50

Arena Football (xbox) - $7.50

Also, I am trying to sell a copy of Burning Rangers, signed by Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima with a disc only Dragon Force thrown in for $150 if any body is interested ;)

Yea the Rhino sale is pretty sweet. I've gotten Samurai Showdown V for $14.50, The Final Fantasy XI clock for $7.50, and King of Fighters 02/03 for $4.50. The Rhino in the OP mall had an fn Neo Geo Pocket Color and 6 good games for $35 but someone bought it already. How are the Rhino's on the other side of town? (east of the St. John's).

The Wal*Mart Supercenter on Beach Blvd (not the one at the beach, though) has Guitar Hero for $50.00 - game and controller included. There are plenty left. They're located at the front of the electronics section by the movies, opposite of the side with the rest of the games.

Checked out that Game Over store, kinda cool, reminds me of Rhinos but they carry harder to find stuff (Atari Lynx, TG16, a few rare games such as Guardian Heroes and Dragon Force, etc). Nice place to check out if you get bored one day.

Take 95 North to the Fernandina Beach/Yulee exit (take a right after the exit). Just keep going a few miles and on the right hand side is Game Over in a strip mall. If you pass Target/Home Depot, you went to far.

Gamers galore is on normandy in the big lots shopping center, its kinda next to the slot machine place, its best to take I95, take the exit to get to normandy, and go down a couple of blocks to get to normandy. Take a left to get to said shopping center. Then search for the hole in the wall game store. Its a trip thats worth it

Sears at Regency has a *huge* shelf next to the games isle with discounted crap. A lot of it is just regularly priced GH stuff, but I also saw a few good deals...

Check it out if you're in the area. They've taken down all the glass cases - everything was open. They're definitely getting ready for Wii and PS3.

Just picked up the Guitar Hero II bundle at Circuit City. I asked someone in the games department if they had the coupon books mentioned in the main forum, and they didn't know about them. I took it to customer service and they marked it down for me. They also gave me a $10 giftcard - for some reason, this doesn't show up at regular registers. It only works at customer service. They also gave me the beanie advertised in this week's ad.

Definitely the best deal in town.

What kind of collector stuff do you plan on having? The FFXII mem cards were cool.

Here is the scoop guys.... two Targets in the Jacksonville area will be 8 PS3 (Mandarin and Regency) while the rest are getting 6 (its getting broken down 4+2 and 6+2 but not sure which of each).

Hot Like Wasabi- The FFXII Memory Cards have definately been a hit, due to the fact nobody is carrying them locally. We did get in some Phantasy Star Universe memory cards last week which are pretty cool. We're trying to get our hands on anything the corporate stores won't carry for the most part. For the classic gamers, we're working on filling up the collectors case you saw in the back. We got just about any RPG for the PSOne, SNES, Sega CD, and Sega Saturn, complete, nice and minty. Just trying to figure out what to put in the case since we have more stuff than room right now.
Sying- No problem. The Games Galore store is owned by Jerry McCoy and his son usually is there running it. They are cool guys and have alot of neat stuff. Definately worth checking out if you're in that area. Me and him have worked together for quite awhile around Jax.
Were on A1A in Yulee. The easiest way is to take I-95 to the Fernadina Beach exit and hang a right (coming from Jax). Go down about 5 miles. We're on the right, in Tyler Plaza. There's a Beds for Less and Anytime Fitness in the same center. We're to the left of Beds for Less when you pull in. Just look for the signs. If you get to Target/Chili's/Whataburger, you went too far.
Swing by, I'm the Military guy with the short hair. My wife Sarah is the blonde and Sam is the brunette. If you ever went to the Regency EB Games, then you'll probably recognize Ken, he was the Store Manager there.
We're still putting things together and figuring out how we want to do stuff, but we're open for any suggestions. If you can make it up, let us know what you think and what you would like to see. We're trying to make our store a one stop shop that everyone wants to come to, hang out, etc... :-)
GamerGuy- Thanks, this has been a long time coming and we're super excited about everything. We've only been open about a month now but everyone has been great. We have some awsome customers who are really cool. Getting the word out has been the hard part. We can't afford commercials and stuff like that yet, so pretty much we're relying on word of mouth.

I was waiting until we got a little more established to do this, but....the CAG community has been good to me, well before I ever opened my own place. Where are you located? There is a GameForce on San Pablo and Beach which might be closer for you then Mandarin.

Stopped by Target at the Town Center today and found Prey for $12.48 (PC version) in the clearance section. They have Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne for that price too, not much else.

I also stopped by Game Over! in Yulee. It's well worth looking at if you're in that area for whatever reason. They had a lot of collector's stuff, like boxed Chrono Triggers and import Saturn games. Pretty good prices too, I was surprised to find that some of the current $49.99 games used were $39.99, as opposed to EB's $44.99 scheme. They've also got a lot of controllers for classic systems, and now that Rhino is out of Jax and GameForce has stopped carrying a lot of the older stuff, it's really the only somewhat local shop that has anything of that genre.

Thumbprint for cops to use if games are stolen. But in all the time I did trades the cops never had come in to investigate. Also there is no way to identify one game from another unless the owner put some identifying mark on the disc. Cops don't even use trade -in info in thier investigations.

Were on A1A in Yulee. The easiest way is to take I-95 to the Fernadina Beach exit and hang a right (coming from Jax). Go down about 5 miles. We're on the right, in Tyler Plaza. There's a Beds for Less and Anytime Fitness in the same center. We're to the left of Beds for Less when you pull in. Just look for the signs. If you get to Target/Chili's/Whataburger, you went too far.
Swing by, I'm the Military guy with the short hair. My wife Sarah is the blonde and Sam is the brunette. If you ever went to the Regency EB Games, then you'll probably recognize Ken, he was the Store Manager there.

The guy behind the counter was telling me they use a $10,000 machine to get rid of scratches on discs, and nontheless the discs had no scratches. Hey I took your advice and checked out Game Over this weekend. First I went to their flea market outlet on Pecan Park Rd and scored Parappa The Rapper for PS1 for $18! That totally beats the prices of $40 at Games Galore and $50 at Game Force. I then ventured to the actual store on A1A and went in on the buy 2 get 1 free sale. Just when I thought bargains were hard to come by in Jacksonville. Oh wait... Game Over isn't even in Jacksonville.

Hmm, there is a potential deal this week for the 904. In the Circuit City ad they have 4 games for their "in-stores by 2pm or get a $20 gift card" deal. Heavenly Sword and NHL 08 are more than likely going to be in stores on time. Skate and DK Jungle Climber have new release dates and won't make it by their advertised times. So if all of us go to all 3 surrounding CC's we can end up with 6 $20 gift cards, 3 from Skate on Wed and 3 from DK on Tues. $120 in CC gift cards? Hell yeah.

The only thing holding us back is that they'll say its the publishers' fault and therefore refuse our free money. It's still worth a try though so don't get discouraged. If this works we will totally cause a dent in the CC empire.

Last thing of note, I have talked to district gamestop managers, and we will have about 50 times the quantity of copies of the games as most gamestops will including the LEGENDARY EDITIONS!!!! All gamestops are only getting what was preordered from their stores but we are getting about 5 times what was preordered in legenday editions!!! Oh yeah I found an Xbox Beyond Good & Evil at the flea market last Sunday. The case was shit though. I then made a stop at the Mandarin Game Force and the really awesome guy who works there let me exchange my case for theirs. I should've went there first cause they sell it for $6! I paid a whole dollar more at the flea market.

I'm just curious do any of you go to the flea markets around town? If not where do all of you usually go for cheap games? I feel the flea market's the only place to get cheap games now since every time there's a clearance/sale at a retail store everything's gone so quickly. When I went to CC for the 1600 pt. cards at 11am they were already gone! When I look at the clearance bin at any store all that's left is crap. There's more instances but I can't remember right now cause I'm wasted. It's so frustrating. I feel like this city is full of Fatwallet and Slickdeals fucks. I wanna move to fn Palatka or something just so I have no competition to the deals haha. Yeah right, I'll fn get killed by a shotgun in redneck territory.

My friends were at the Regency one and I call them around 9 and they tell me there were more than 25 people already so I just decided to save gas and go to the closer BB. BTW they were also giving away free stuff. It was not worth it for my westside living self to go all the way out there. Circuit City at Regency still has tons of stuff from the last two clearances, such as God Hand and Wario Ware GC. I picked up Karaoke Revolution American Idol Edition for PS2, game only, for $13.

Sears at Regency had some great clearance stuff right outside their electronics department. I picked up Rogue Galaxy (PS2) for $8.99. I saw Super Mario Strikers (GC) for about $10 too.

Best Buy at Regency has nothing special.

Target at Regency has a few games marked "Clearance," but I think they were all recent pricedrops. Final Fantasy XII for $19.99, Splinter Cell Double Agent (Wii) for $19.99, and a bunch of the usual shovelware DS stuff for less than that.

I'm gonna check out TRU on Tuesday for the B2G2 sale.
