From what I've played of the trial version, I can't really say if it's worth the 800 points. The only thing that single player has going for it is the mutant schtik- everything else is "meh."

EDIT: I decided to go ahead and buy the full game. The more I play it, the more I like it.

I thought it was definitely worth the 800 points. It's a good platformer that reminded me a lot of Lost Vikings and the 2D Oddworlds. There are certainly a lot of levels and the co-op play makes it a good game to just chill with friends and play. It even supports two-players on the same 360 on Live which is a big plus in my household.

The versus mode seemed fun from the little bit I played as well. And with Ninja Bee's past track record, I think it's safe to say that we may see some additions to the game in the future.

I only played a quick 10min around 1am and I gotta agree with shipwreck, its tons of fun and well worth 800pts. The achievements were setup nicely as well.

My initial impressions are postive.
The online looks like it can be fun too, especially since it has co-op and vs.

Single player is a lot of fun! I agree with the Lost Vikings and Oddworld comparisons. From what I played Live is fun and chaotic. I need to spend a little more time on the MP to get the hang of it. So far so good and gotta say it was worth the 800 pts!

I'm looking forward to getting home and checking this out later. Glad to hear some positive impressions. What's the mp like? Is it scoring based or directly competative against other characters?

Versus mode you have to take out your enemies Robot Security Cameras to win. Only played a couple of matches, but it was pretty fun.

Co-op mode is the same as the single player game except you have other people playing as well. There are robot action figures to collect, but only the person who actually collects it gets credit for it. So if you are playing co-op and want to get 100% you are going to have to replay a lot of the levels.

The easiest way to do this is to take turns grabbing the figures. Have one person grab them all the first time through and then have the next person grab them all the second time through. It's either that or try to remember who grabbed what the first time.

July 26 – Galaga

Not sure if the SFII date is accurate though... I'll probably be passing on Galaga.

Agreed.

This game is horribly addictive and one of my best purchases so far on the XBLA.

At first I wasn't liking it all that much...then I became a chicken. While 10.00 is a lil steep, the game is really cool and I like helping out the smaller companies. I'm about to buy it.

I'll just need to grab more points before Street Fighter hits though...I hope my BestBuy has some 1600 cards.

I'm on the fence about this one. I enjoyed the demo, but damn if 800 points isn't steep.

That being said, I will buy galaga next week as long as it doesn't suck. :P

It really is worth the 800 points.

This is a great puzzle game and it looks like the longevity will be trying to beat your own time/XBL play.

Had a good time playing online co-op today with javeryh, shipwreck, and commish.

Unlocked a few achievements and gamerpics, including this one, which I am now rocking.

yeah that was pretty fun even though I had no idea what was going on - definitely worth 10 bones. I need to sit down and play some single player for an hour or so. I like how we all have weird gamer scores now (especially binary shipwreck).

Every game should incorporate Gamerpictures as unlockables, this is the second game I know of that does this. The first being R* Table Tennis.

Can you play co-op with more than 2 players on XBL?

It's 4-player co-op, with a max of 2 players on the same 360. commish and I were playing on the same 360 when we were playing with javeryh and Cheapy.

Yeah, 4 for co-op is the perfect number. For versus however, it would be insanely fun if they were able to up the number of players to at least 8. I'm hoping that they update that in the future along with more versus maps because it can get pretty stale playing the same levels over and over again with the same three people. Still fun, but that's the one area of the game that could use some additions.

I tried doing it with some random people but got stuck with a couple guys who didn't speak english and kept kicking me. :-/

I'd say the single player take about 3-5 hours or so. 24 levels plus 10 challenge levels. You can blaze through it faster but if you're trying to get the Killer Ken action figures and help all the clones escape it's AND beat the par times, its about 3-5 hours.

Whats up with playing online? Is it the same as single player but with 4 people?

You nailed it. Great game, and fantastic online I believe... but pretty hard to get a game going on LIVE. (which is the problem with so many LIVE games)

I think you've got a better chance inviting people on your friends list to play than just searching for a random game. Since they didn't build achievements around co-op play (and vs. play is lacking), most people are just going to play the single player on this one. I know that after the first couple of days, I just played single player and beat the game. I probably won't really touch it much now unless they put out some expansion packs for it.

Well, I got lucky, created a vs mode, two people joined, the game started, they played for about 3 minutes and left... I assume they just wanted the achievement. Vs mode didn't seem all that awesome though, you're right.

At least I got the achievement though.

Yea, the game is fun, kind of easy, but still fun... almost done with it now.

Finally! I finished the game, saved all the clones, found all the dolls and unlocked all of the achievements. It was pretty fun and for a while in the middle I was quite addicted. Level 24 was the toughest because it was the only one (that I found) where you could get in a bind where you couldn't exit all the clones and finish the level. This was a great XBLA game and certainly worth twice as much as Galaga, Frogger and a bunch of other totally shit $5 games.

I just need 2 more levels to finish the game. Also I think I'm on the 5th challenge level.
