Any sales numbers on the 360 Faceplates?

I am just curious if this idea is really taking off for M$ or not... I am guessing it's doing moderately decent, but nothing too great. If anyone has the info, please post.

I saw the official silver one , at Wal*Mart , clearanced for $12.00 .

Also , the sports related ones don't stand a chance in hell selling very good .
That stuff always gets picked over , and just the shitty teams are left .
They might be good to customize yourself when they inevitably go on clearance .

Collector faceplates from events however........... People seem to be paying up the arseload for those.

360 Faceplates = Microsoft's UMD Movie, IMO. I'd buy an assload of them if they were cheaper, as it's a nice little novelty.

I'm really interested in the Gameface though, I just saw that the other day and I'm trying to decide on a cool faceplate to use it for.

I see these clearanced out everywhere. Walmart has them for roughly $6-9 each. Rhino has almost all of them on clearance. I can't say they are doing too well here locally.

yeah, that's what they feel like to me. If they were cheaper, I could see myself getting a few, but at the current price I probably wont ever buy one.
