How many launch colors?

I was just wondering what Wii colors were going to be available at launch. I want a green one but I certainly don't want to wait for it to be released. I just need the question answered then this thread can be deleted.

Chances are you will at least be able to choose between white or black. Don't expect any other colors until next Christmas, when they start releasing the "special edition" bundles.

No one has any idea on colors at launch, here or anywhere else. But the guesses are probably right. I'd love one of the off colors, though the white would fit pretty well with the rest of my consoles in the game room (gray or white, other than my green N64) - but if I put it in my living room, it will kinda clash with all my black components and black TV stand.

Nintendo had three colors on display at E3: white, black, and baby blue. That isn't to say that we'll definitely be getting those, but it's a possibility.

Well, my first thought was something among the lines of holy shit, he said "ya'll".

I have reasons to believe that quite a few colors will be made available in the states at launch. I'll tell you which one I want after that. I have to say that Gray is my favorite, and has been for a while. If you take a black and white photo of something gray, you can claim it's ANYTHING.

It's funny because I wasn't even thinking that Nintendo would release colors other than black and white. Look back when they showcased the GameCube and I remember they had all different colors on display. I'm not sure if they ever did release them or not in or outside of Japan.

Also, anyone that did the Wii up close, does it have the same glassy look as the DS lite? I don't want to go by pictures that are floating around.

That said (and playfully!)--I would LOVE either the green apple or candy apple red colors (both for my Wii AND my DS Lite)....but I know that those were just colors to suggest the possibilities and unlikely to actually be produced--at least anytime in the next year. So, boring white it will be for me! At least with the DS Lite I can wait it out until a cool color comes along since I have the original DS.....

Technically, couldn't is not a word, could not is the proper way to state it (assuming he would have used the apostrophe). Second, "I feed them every day by visiting this forums" is incorrect. The "this" should be "these."
