Nibris has announced that it's found a publisher for its atmospheric horror game, Sadness. However, due to a non-disclosure agreement, the Poland-based developer can't reveal the publisher's name just yet. Here's a hint: with themes like narcolepsy, nyctophobia, and paranoid schizophrenia, it's not Nintendo -- or is it ... ?

good news, just curious about the actual game will look like

I think Nintendo could help encourage smaller developers a lot if they personally published the two (or three) NIBRIS' titles for the Wii/DS. What better way to back their idea of 'the best idea' winning than to back a small, unknown developer.

Plus, I think the idea for Sadness sounds great though most people think the whole company is a fluke. I just wish they'd show some real screens though.

They have shown screens for their Raid Over River games (Wii/DS), but I believe those were developed on the PC since they didn't have dev kits yet.

Ugh fuck that. No more FPS's unless EXTREMELY innovative. However Sadness I'll take. Maybe they'll be Japanese enough in story, i.e. not holding back on good material, they'll be one of the few Western devs who doesn't losee face in Japan.

Oh, ok. Thank GOD! I'm sick of this same shit from FPS groups. If you aren't Sierra go fuck yourselves on terms of it. We've got enough garbage from the rest of you people to suffice. Oh and CoD2 is welcome in the exception group.

Sadness is high on my list of Wii launch-window titles. More than pretty much any other Wii game I can think of, this one has the most potential to either be astonishingly great or an absolute disappointment.

Anyway, I'm thrilled that they've secured a publisher... just hope they don't pooch the game.

Has it been confirmed to be a launch window title?

There's no way it's in the launch window, let alone the launch year. I'm pretty sure they said it would be 2 years before a product materialized.

So hey, that would make them roughly....10x as fast as previous Nintendo second parties.

Yes, I'm aware they are not a second party.

It is a joke, people.

Yeah Strell but Rare always had the symptom of dicking around.

Crap stick. Thanks for pooping on my Wii-launch parade. *throws up hands* I'm buyin' a Sony!
