Naruto 3 and 4 re-tooled and optimized for the Wii?

The Naruto: Clash of Ninja 3D fighting games have performed remarkably well on GameCube, both in Japan and in America. The first game in the series debuted in the states earlier this year and the second one is on the way. However, there are two additional Naruto fighters already available in Japan. Sources indicate that going forward these titles are much more likely to be re-tooled and optimized for Wii before they ever make their stateside debut.

i dunno if i like them just slapping on a new coat of paint to release it here in the states, seems like more problems could arise from it then anything else

I hope so. I imported 3 while taking a pass on four, but a localized Wii version would be a fun rental at the least.

If this is true and they have the option for Japanese voices, then I'm there.

For playing fighting games in the Wii, I'd just rather use the standard controller or a Gamecube controller as opposed to the Wiimote, so so long as they give you a choice of playing it with either controller (Like the new Smash Bros.), then I'm game.

Why? So they don't have to work on Naruto 5? Or is Battle Stadium DON taking the place of Naruto 5 for this year?

I've paid enough to import them, there's no way I'll pay again for some "suped-up" versions. I hope this isn't going to be some trend to rerelease suped-up GC games for the Wii.
