360 + Tomb Raider-140

I am located in the Richmond,Va and I'm interested in selling a

1 Xbox 360 broken(3 red lights) I bought in May with box, controller and all cords,etc.
I checked on ebay and 360's with the 3 red light error are still gettin 100+

Just search for xbox 360 broken" on ebay.

I also have a memory card and Tomb Raider game in new condition.

I am sure I can get at least 120-140 for it with everthing included. I don't really don't feel like getting a refurbished 360 though ms.I'm just going towait till I save up enough money to get a brand new 1.

I'm with paypal or if you have enough refs I would send it out first.

Yeah.Plus Target wouldn't do anything about it. Even though I work for them. You can still register it with MS.

Why wouldn't you get this fixed through MS? Spending $130 now verses $400 later makes more sense...

Yeah, but I really don't feel like going through all the trouble.:cry: I read on a bunch of other forums that the MS replacement takes at least 3 weeks and that the refurbished 1 will probably break too, being that they are just patched up 360s.I kinda wanted to just buy a new 1 at costco and get a costco warranty.I heard they just replace it if it breaks.

If you haven't registered the console, I would buy the extended warranty from MS. Call them up a week or so later and tell them it's broken. It will be covered under the warranty you purchased.

That sound like an Idea.That what I'm hoping a buyer.Though I still want to sell it because i want to play NCAA 07 now.I've been waitin forever to get it and when I did.My game broke.Now I have NCAA but no console.I was saving that gamestop credit for the longest.

why not just pay $60? it's not like there's never going to be another NCAA game.
paying another $400 to play something that's essentially the same as the edition that came out before it is just plain moronic, imo.

Never mind, that was a stupid,dishonest Idea.I',m going to call MS again and give them enough mouth, maybe they will lower the replacement price.

well, you can buy a one year warranty for $29. That's what I did a few weeks ago.

Just called 1-800-4MY-XBOX and they charged me the 130 but then I told them the I spent a crapload of money and now i'm broke sad story and they are now charging me 90 for a replacement.Is the a good Idea to go with that offer.Some lady wants to buy it broken for 125.I know I will be spending more fore for a new 1 if I do take her offer, but I just want to get a new 1 and get a costo warranty.I know it sounds stupid. I should just be patient, pay 90 and weight for the replacement right?

um, pay the 90. why take a loss like that just to get a costco warranty? hell, pay the 90 to have it fixed and buy the extended (2 year) warranty and STILL come out ahead of buying a new machine (with taking nearly a 270.00 loss)

cost of repair: $90
cost of warranty: $60
total spent: $150.

sell your xbox for $125.
buy a new one for $400+TAX
spend nearly $300 more for a "warranty"...

See what I am saying?
