Brian Lara, the genre-leading cricket game series, will return with Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 and officially feature the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007, Codemasters announced today.

Coming to PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and PC, the sequel to the best-selling 2005 title will launch to coincide with the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 in March 2007.

At least the game looks good as opposed to the sport.

I'll pick it up since i've always wanted to learn cricket... it's probably the first seriouse sports title I've been interested in for a long time.

I'm guessing following up with a team beating on the old man is bonus points? beating him with the walker must be a point multiplyer.

I'm not sure if you guys are being serious or not :) ...but anyway, that guy is the umpire, and it isn't a walker, although it does look like it from that angle! He's standing in front of the wicket (cricket's equivalent of first base).

they probably meant best selling 2005 cricket title since they are the only ones with a cricket game.
