Konductra

I NEVER Heard of this game.. but apparently it's coming out next tuesday AND it has the wi-fi logo on it! I checked NintendoWiFi.com and it shows no info.. or even a "hub". I remember they put one up for Lost Magic before it was released!

Is this like.. a Point Blank DS where it just came out of nowhere?
Or am I just really misinformed and this game has been scheduled for quite some time???

A new development studio... and no reviews yet. Not sure what to expect.

I heard about this. It's a Tetris clone.

It's been "coming soon" for a long time, actually. I read they finished the game but had a hard time finding a publisher.

i just think it's weird that Nintendo only has a very few wi-fi games, and since this is coming out (regardless of if it's good or not) it wasn't put on Nintendowifi.com to try and get people excited about a new wi-fi game?

hopefully it's good! puzzle games w/ vs modes online can be pretty fun!

Though, i want Meteos wifi ;(

So Konductra found a publisher?

The game was almost complete when the developer started looking for a publisher. WiFi support is always a plus. Looks like O~3 Entertainment (Alien Hominid, Chaos Field) picked it up and yes it will be released on August 1st! Looks like a fun puzzle game!

$30 is waaay too much for this game though. I say it should be no more than $20, but thats my opinion.

Tetris clone my ass. I remember reading about this way back in November. It sounds pretty cool.

"The game is a weird and "out there" concept that almost builds on certain elements of Polarium. In Konductra, players place colored tiles, two at a time, on a grid. To remove these tiles and earn points, you'll have to create groupings of the same color that link to the "conductors" on the edge of the playing field. When you've got a successful grouping, you drag the stylus from one conductor (black or white), paint the qualifying colored tiles, and then end the link by drawing over the same colored conductor. If your grouping is a success, those tiles will shatter from play and make room for more colored tiles." - IGN (http://ds.ign.com/articles/670/670878p1.html)
