Would put this in the PC forum, but it's not a PC, is it?

Anyways, I'm at my friend's house, and he has a nice new Widescreen Intel Mac Desktop, and we're trying to increase the compatability of a song we created with Garage Band. We exported it to iTunes, and now it's an .aif file...bleh. Is there any program on Mac (for free), that can convert the .aif file to an MP3?

Thanks...

itunes does it. goto edit>preferences>advanced, click on the importing tab, select MP3 under import using, and put whatever kbps you want.

then right click on the song and put import to mp3. wallaaah

In iTunes, just Right-Click the song and select "Convert Song to mp3". No need to go into the preferences.
