The East Coast doesn't get a lot of attention with the gaming industry, so this looks like it could be a pretty decent show. Anyone thinking of going? It would be cool if we could get a good CAG contingent to attend. And maybe Wombat could bring the CAGcast too!

I went last year with a few friends--it's kind of low-rent but a fun way to spend a few hours. Outside of Guitar Hero I don't recall anything current being showcased, but it was retro gaming nirvana. I could have walked out of there with every console and home computer ever made if I wanted to. (Only laziness prevented me from lugging an Atari 800 back to NYC.)

Don't expect anything even approaching the major exhibitions, but do expect the largest videogame garage sale you'll ever see in your life.

There were also homebrew games and some specialty items like the Generation NEX for sale.


EDIT: OK, having actually checked out the site now :) it looks like they're significantly expanding it this year. It was only two days last year and admission was free. So maybe it'll be a much bigger deal this year.
