pixel situation and more on ds lite

so i got my ds lite from the overstock deal and had my parents bring it over to europe when they came to spain.

but it's got a few stuck pixels and the power slider doesnćt slide, it sort of gets stuck half way and i have to manually pull and push on it.

i,m in croatia so i donć tthink there will be a nintendo store or anything.

can i return it when i come back stateside in august?

I don't know if Overstock registers your DS when they sell it so hold onto your original receipt. Nintendo of America should honor the warranty of your DSL up to one year from the date of purchase so it should still be okay in August.
