Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that Adult Swim finally picked up Bleach. Thus games shall probably ensue, including Bleach DS. So for those of you who are interested in it but still haven't bought it, you may want to wait a while longer.

Do you think Bleach Ds will reach U.S shores?

it wont be till 2007 if they release the game. First the show has to pick up some popularity, then some Sega big wigs will decide it should come over here, prob some licensing crap needs to be dealt with. Then it has to get localized. I say Feb or March 2007. You also have to remember they dont want to release the game with characters from the show not yet revealed. So they want to make sure everything is covered too.

Might as well get Bleach 2 DS.

Edit: If the first one does come out here, I think it'll be much longer than Feb/Mar. 07

Best bet is to import it, really. There is no guarantee it will be localized, and even if it is, I am not willing to wait that long. Besides, there are English translation guides out there to help those w/o Japanese backgrounds.

Bleach Wi-Fi FTW!

After all, there were four Naruto games in Japan before one came out over here...

Before Bleach DS can come over they have to get about forty episodes into the series, which would be quite a while even if they average two episodes a week.

The one good thing about Bleach 2 coming out is that Bleach 1 will almost certainly drop in price. I plan on picking it up when Play-Asia has it as a weekly special in a month or two.

Like others said, it's going to be quite a while for Bleach DS to come out here if it even does. It's going to take Adult Swim some time to get Bleach into the same spot when Bleach DS came out overseas. Not all Adult Swim shows get all their games brought over here either (FMA for GBA). I would love for Bleach DS to come out here but I wouldn't be suprised if the PS2 and PSP versions were the only ones to come out here.

Either way, by the time Bleach DS comes out here several people will already be fluent in Bleach DS 2. The language barrier isn't that much of a problem anyway, the only time I checked a translation guide for Bleach DS was for Ichigo's story mode. Everything else was VERY easy to pick up. If price is a problem then Bleach DS might possibly go down when Bleach DS 2 is available. That might be less of a wait than waiting for it to be localized. ;)

*snicker*
they're gonna bring Bleach to North America, and expect people to say:
"Might as well watch it, before we end up watching filler episodes!" LOL!!!!

I dunno. Sega seems not to want to port over their anime games. For example, they haven't ported over Initial D: Special Stage even though the Arcade game does pretty well over here.
