The best kind of game they can make on the Wii is a medieval sword and shield slasher.
Free-analog movement with the nunchuk, and it also, when whipped forward, brings your shield up. Remote controls the sword, obviously, and every movement should be translated. When the trigger on the remote is held, spell forms can be drawn in the air and then cast.
Arx Fatalis Wii would be sweet.

I'm all for shooters! If they can make a good or decent online system and have a ton of shooters to pick from, theres no doubt the Wii will sell!

I think classic point and click adventure games should be revived on the Wii.

I think all genres should be in it. I think they should have tons of games, so many games that it'd make any CAG collector cry. Point in click RPGs and such, Shooters especially with a good online system, and deffinatly a sword fighting medieval game like that, they'd all be so fun.

I'm pretty sure the sole reason for creating the Wii control scheme was so we could have a new Mister Mosquito game. Think of the possibilities!

The definitive genre will definitley be First Person games. They need to focus on that genre because it will work the best with the Wiimote, and look at a lot of the most popular games these day, they are First Person Shooters.

Haha that game was crazy. I liked the music conductor one for PS2 also.

Baseball (Hitting and Pitching will be fun)
Golf
Some of the olympic sports
I can see the need for the mechanics being worked on along and along games will probally need to be more forgiving than with a GamePad.
of course I see a whole getting fit, exercise genre selling big time.

i actually think that advance wars would work on the wii... use the remote to select and deploy units.

Ya if they manage to make some awesome FPS games, they could take a lot of gamers....like Xbox attracted Halo fans Nintendo could attract even more. They should really focus on making a great new 1st party shooter. I hate console shooters like MOH and COD on consoles because the controls are so annoying, takes too long to turn and crouch and aim, everything just takes too long. On computer I can turn in a tenth of a second and can perform actions way faster. Wii will be similar to a computer so they can put a lot more action into there games that way.

a fishing game could be tight, they need to make a game where you have to survive on a desert island for the Wii. Fish, Hunt, Build, Explore, you could either try to survive there or try to escape.
