That shit happend to me, the guy won the auction never paid, never responed to any emails. Then left neg, said my auction was not a legit auction, two months after the fact. Thats why I quit selling shit on ebay.

on a somewhat unrelated note...

this game is really worth 40 bucks? i copped this at funcoland for 20... i think it was maybe a month ago, so i guess game prices really can fluctuate pretty fast...

Nick there are always a-holes on eBay. I ended up selling 3 new Rez's in March for $59.99 each ($24 something from TRU.) and one idiot claimed he never got his. Well at the same time I was selling 6 strategy guides and every single person but said idiot left me positive feedback.

This guy kept sending me emails asking for his money back, to track it down which he knew I couldn't do since the ad stated FREE FIRST CLASS SHIPPING, which has no tracking number etc. Unfortunately if you switch your eBay email over to a hotmail account eBay won't deliver emails, you get the picture. I tried replying to the guy twice and the email he used came back as mailer daemons.

Needless to say I left him a positive feedback and I got nothing. Quite frankly after his deceptions I honestly don't care if he didn't get his game or not.

Ended on the 8th, received by the 12th, doesn't sound slow to me. What did he expect, overnight (of course, he didn't expect overnight, because you stated your shipping method. $4 for shipping with delivery confirmation is pretty reasonable, IMO).

Here are a couple of Neutrals that I've received:

1. everything went well!!!

2. Very pleasant person to deal with. Understanding & Kind! Thank You

I guess I should be happy they weren't Negatives.

Some people are just stupid with ebay. I used to work with a guy that if he didnt like the packaging his item came in he would give people neutral feeback. Who knows why this person gave you a neutral, you and everyone here know knows he's an idiot.

Yeah this motha focker left me a negative, as soon as I paid him. Which is immediately, via Paypal.

Mine cleared on the 8th too.

He kept telling me he was waiting for it to clear.
I told him it did 3 days ago.
He said he'd ship on Monday. Then yesterday, he left me feedback.

A terrible one, at that. He didn't even send the game out yet.

He said he has so many positives, that I can go ahead and post a negative for him. He doesn't care.

So, last night, I ran an investigation, and had the money haulted. He is truly pissed, but I'm screwed.

I needed the 10 positives, to use Buy It Now.
This sucks so many goatnuts.

It sounds like the delivery was fast considering there was no mail delivery on Friday.

Some buyers are never satisfied. Although getting a neutral sucks, at least it doesn't hurt the positive feedback % like a negative does.

BigNick I know how it feels.

Here is my one neutral feedback story:

I put an old Breath of Fire Guide on eBay. With in about 20 minutes some guy buys it. So, I email him and ask him how he wants to pay. 2 weeks go by. No response. So, I put it back up. Again, sells within about 20 minutes buy-it-now. Received payment and sent it. About a week or 2 later, I got a letter in the mail from someone I have never heard of. It had a check in it. For about 5 minutes I was clueless as to why this guy wrote me a check. Then it hit me, this was the same amount it the guide had sold for the first time. So, I sent it back to him with a letter explaining the situation. Then I got neutral feedback. Something about being fair. Too bad I can't still leave feedback, because my niceness has changed.

I sell on ebay as well, and a lot of people try to get over when you are selling stuff i was selling an emulator and in the description said that i recommend this for adavnce windows xp user only i sold about 8 of them and then the next few days i just kept getting emails for people not knowing how to start them i would tell them to make sure this is clicked to push 5 to enter coin etc and then would email me back like 5 days later demanding a new disc that works so i rewrote the instructions in stupid terms for like a 5 year old and they emailed me back thanking me for the "techinal support" and the did leave postive feedback after like 2 weeks.[/i]

Get this, the guy that left me a neutral, just emailed me.

I was attempting to help my wife resolve a Ebay problem and I discovered she made a huge mistake. She just started buying on Ebay under my account. She ordered a Zelda game on May 19th and she waited to June 8th with no response from the seller. She reordered a Zelda game from you and you shipped promptly. She thought she was leaving feedback for the original Zelda seller and she left you neutral feedback. Is there anything I could do to resolve this terrible error and reinstate your spotless record? I am very sorry this occured.

Perfect feedback is overrated. As long as you reply to every neg or neutral you're good to go.

http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=siamesellama

A recent neutral came to me in the form of " My little brother says: It didn't come with a free poster of Mario, son" for an N64 game. In the picture was that little slip for a Nintendo Power game guide. It had a picture of Mario on it. His punk ass "little brother" must've thought it was a poster and "big brother" decided to leave a neutral, neglecting to reread the auction like anybody with a fucking brain would do.

"Reply by siamesellama: It's not a poster. What was in the picture is what you recieved."

It took a lot of effort not to add "son" in there but I figured a snide remark would do more to hurt my reputation that a nuetral feedback.

isn't the seller supposed to leave feedback after payment received?

Many people think that but a lot of sellers do not leave feedback when the payment is received. The transaction is not over yet when a buyer pays.

My policy with feedback for buyers is that they either leave me positive feedback or let me know they got the item and satisfied with the transcation before I leave a buyer feedback.

I do this for 2 reasons-

1. I was tired of leaving feedback for all buyers and not getting feedback in return.

2. If you leave a buyer positive feedback as soon as they pay, they know they can give you a neutral or negative without retailiation. If a buyer has a problem and no feedback has been left for them yet, they are more likely to try to resolve the problem before leaving feedback since they know they could get it back in return.
