I was just at my local K-Mart, and they were having a conversion sale (what are they turning into? Sears? I can never remember), and so everything in the store was 10-30% off. Everything in the electronics section, including video games, was 20% off. Ready for the kicker?
This INCLUDES HARDWARE.
There was a 360 Core system, some slim PS2s and PSPs, and a DS, and all were marked down 20%. I don't know if this is nationwide or just for my store (Ellicott City, MD).

It was probably turning into a SEARS Essentials store, its probably that store only. I'd go myself if there was one near me, could use a portable media device for my upcoming trip. 20% off + 10% off SEARS Associate Discount.

K-Mart plans to convert 400+ stores into Sears. If you have a K-Mart nearby and not Sears, chances are, it will be Sears soon. Is that a valid assumption?

I don't believe so. I have 2 K-Marts between work and home, and they both seem to be going strong on their own so far. Plus, I didn't see any notice about 20% off in the electronics section, but I didn't inquire either.

let's see....do a "store locator" thingie, and look for K-mart here in San Jose. oops.... i just remembered, there's NONE... all were "converted" to Kohls! yeah wrong K store. :lol:

My nearest Kmart is now 40 minutes away since the other 2 close to me closed awhile ago. Otherwise I would go check.

we have two kmarts on the same road 6 miles away from each other. and i live in delaware. we have a gamestop 25 minutes away but two kmarts right next door. meh.
