I was cruising on Play-Asia and I ran across these:
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-b6-49-en-70-1i25.html (Hard Pouch)
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-dy-49-en-70-1ejh-4-6.html (Stretch Stylus)
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-dy-49-en-15-comfort%2Bpen-70-1fpq.html ("Comfortable" Stylus)
All three have the Nintendo seal.
Has anybody used any of these? I'm curious about them... mostly about whether the Stretch Stylus is made of metal or not. Help me.

I'm very curious about the Hard Pouch myself.
The Stretch Stylus IS made of metal. MoriToys makes the only official, extendable stylus with a metal barrel. MoriToys made a similar product for the old DS as well (the one you linked to fits into a DS Lite only). They make really good products. The only drawback I find is that because one half of the barrel is thinner than the other it throws off my balance. Still, very sturdy.
The Comfortable Stylus is a Hori product. It's full size and made of very sturdy plastic. These kind of stylii are the most comfortable to use as they have a uniform thickness and feel like a pen. It comes with a mounting bracket so you can mount it when not in use on the back of your DS Lite.

I am 95% positive that the metal & stretch DS Lite Stylus is the one that I am currently using. Can`t say enough great things about it - the tip provides great grip (at least when coupled with the Hori screen protectors) and the metal body has a very solid feel so I am not worried about it breaking during intensive game play (like the spinners from Osu!) It`s also quite thick, so I never need to extend it. The price is also right. :)
Overall Satisfaction - 10/10. MUST BUY!
Hope it helps!

Unfortunately, there are unlicensed, metal, stretch stylii out there. MoriToys makes the only licensed one.

...then why buy an extendable stylus? The standard DS Lite stylus is the same thickness, and it feels just as sturdy since it isn't hollow like Hori's. The price is actually not so right. MoriToys packs TWO stylii (one white and one black) with their old DS version for the same price.

I found a picture of the stylus with the package that I took the day I bought it, and can confirm it is indeed the MoriToys stylus.
I also bought it the same day I picked up my DS Lite, so I never had a chance to use the standard stylus. So perhaps I have no right to compare the two. And the MoriToys stylus is only one stylus - not two like the old DS version.
