Hey all, I found myself quite bored yesterday, making fun of people that want cybersex and typing "asl asl asl" in a chatroom. I noticed that the last game I got was Age of Mythology, 2 or 3 years back. I decided I needed an upgrade.
Are there any (nice) games that I can play on
512mb RAM
64mb Ti 4200 Video Card
3.2GHz P4 processor
I would prefer some type of shooting/action game, which I would be able to play on medium settings. I don't wanna have some crappy 5 pixel game running on my screen.
Thanks in advance!

Max Payne, Max Payne 2.. maybe Half Life 2 (believe it or not, HL2 can run on almost any system).. Kingpin.. Deus Ex.. Hitman: Codename 47.. all of those games should be $20 or less.

Unreal Tournament 1, that'll run perfectly on there. Quake 3, hell any of the Quakes.

Deus Ex. Not the shitty sequel -- the first game. One of the best games I've played. It's aged well and it is definitely worth checking out since it's also really damn long.

Play No One Lives Forever and No One Lives Forever 2. They're really funny and the gameplay is solid. Also, Unreal Tournament still has people playing online.

Wolfenstein:Enemy Territoy is a online FPS and its free. Its based on the quake 3 engine, Im sure that you could run it.

Alright, thanks guys. I really despise paying to play games monthly, ie WoW (don't like that game anyways), and I've played Wolfenstein: ET. Is Quake 3 as good as Wolfenstein?
By shitty sequel of Deus Ex you mean Deus Ex Invisible War? And where can I find that game, since Freddies doesn't have it?

CoD2! Good single player and such fun multi, and if you want to just d/l it and try on cracked servers to see if thats your thing. Some people I know like BF2 more...but I enjoy CoD

If you can find it at Circuit City it's only 96 cents.

That's similar to the computer I used to own, but with a better processor (3.2 ghz vs 2.0 Ghz).
I'm trying to remember what games I played then...
Half-Life (works great, duh)
Half-Life 2 (load times were looong, but it played fine)
Counter-Strike: Source (worked fine on all med-high settings)
GTA: Vice City (works fine. San Andreas may work fine too, but I dunno - didn't get it till after I upgraded)
Max Payne (worked fine on high settings)
Max Payne 2 (worked fine on high settings)
Worms: Armageddon (of course it worked fine)
Anyways, you'd be able to run these games fine, better than I could anyways.

If you do choose to play WoW, prepare to be addicted for a long while.

I would suggest Fallout Tactics....excellent shooter/combat strategy game, and get to use some great vehicles.
But I am a die hard Fallout fan, so I am biased, but that is what I would recommend.
And I noticed you said "nice", about the only adult orientated thing that Tactics has in it, is some language, and that's it.
