On August 20, Micro Center will be opening a new gaming department at the Columbus, OH store. This gaming department will eventually involve buy/sell/trade.

On to the deal... To promote the new department, MC will have Xbox 360s for $100 OFF after MIR, at the Columbus, OH store ONLY!!!! I think this applies to both Core and Regular systems, making them $199.99 and $299.99 respectively. Additionally, Madden '07 will be available Aug. 22 with a free $20 Gift Card! I do not know which versions this applies to.

Flyers will be going out about Aug. 18.

-This deal is not yet official (but trust me, its happening)
-Columbus, OH in-store only (as in, not available online)

I work at the Columbus Micro Center and on Aug. 20th we start a sale where both systems have 100 dollar rebates on them, but it is only instore..
so if anyone lives close to the Columbus, Ohio Micro Center and wants one this will be the time to get em.

there was a little bit of a line our front before they opened but definetly tons of 360s to go around....got a premium, play and charge kit, and a vga switch (to share my lcd with my pc, ibook, and 360)

We just bought ours today!! :)

Didn't see anything about any $20 gift card or anything...fantastic deal on the system though. I would say we saw about 10 premiums sold while we were there (20 min or so).
