Nice to see that for me, next week is a pass @ BB, since I'm sure FlatOut 2 will drop to $19.99 before too long, which is all I'd be interested in.

As always, speedy, lots of thanks for the early ads.

Note $5 off NSMB in case you skim over that.

Damn, why couldn't they have a free Logitech cordless with the PS2 version. Bastards.

Question: I have a $5 off coupon from bb's reward club and a $5 GCC. Can I stack the two?

RZ certficates are considered payment, and GGC's are considered coupons. You can use multiple RZ certs/forms of payment, though only one coupon at a time per item. You can use multiples of the same coupon without worry that the register will need an override for the pricing.

So, yes, to answer your question.

I used to work at Best Buy. They are really trying to get rid of the EA version of the Logitechs, so that would be why they are doing only the XBOX version. Heck, when I was working there two months ago, we were doing a Buy 1, Get 1 Free on those. We were always giving discounts on those.

Wait, no Xenosaga? Wasn't this ad suppose to feature Xenosaga episode 3 [8/29] on sale with the lenticular keepcase/slipcover?

Not to offend you, but I find it hard to believe it's not in the ad when there's so many rumors of their gift.

the PC version is widely considered to be far superior to that of the XB/PS2, mainly due to control interface, and expansion packs, but also graphics.

Hmm, StarFox for $25 after GGC. That is tempting.

Every time I've tried this I've been completley stopped. Even after arguing that the RZ certs aren't payment, they won't budge. Oh well, still got those 30% coups

I always hand them the RZ cert's after they've totalled everything and applied the discounts, never had a problem.

RZ certs are payment, and that's why you can use RZ certs and a coupon the same transaction. I use RZ certs & GGC's all the time when buying games, when I have both at-hand. If a BB rep says they are payment, they're correct, that's how their register system considers them to be.

You can use as many RZ certs as you want, plus as many of one type of coupon as you'd like. 3 $20 games with 3 $5 RZ certs and 3 GGC's end up being $30 + tax, and no stupid yellow multipart receipt. The only time you run into issues is with multiple types of coupons, such as the PSU coupon and the GGC coupon being used at the same time, and that's where the manager approval + yellow multipart receipt come up.

The same issue happened with the Best Buy Bucks from the McD's promotion, since they're coupons that end up acting as both payment and a coupon, so they generally just fuck things up without issue.

So can you use a GGC on Starfox since $29.99 is not it's normal price? It says on the coupon that the $5.00 discount comes from the regular price. Hopefully they'll budge.
