View Full Version : IE not loading pages properly

For the last few days I've been having an issue with Internet Explorer where pages aren't fully loaded all the time. Meaning, the title of the page I am requesting is correct, but the window is either blank, or is still showing the original page. The status bar sometimes shows "Opening page..." for a bit, but the flag has stopped moving. Usually one or two refreshes will fix it.
Anyone else having this problem? It doesn't occur with Firefox, or with any other site in IE.

I have been experiencing this as well. It's strange as sometime pages pop right up and other times it takes about a minute for a page to load. If you just leave it on the blank black page though, it will eventually load the rest of the page even though IE doesn't look like it's doing anything.

I'm having a similar problem with FireFox. I thought it was my Internet but it seems CAG's loading times are just erratic.

Really? I've tried loading up CAG today at three different computers with IE and all worked fine and myself have tested CAG with Firefox on two. Right now I'm testing it out with Flock and everything seems fine.

Interesting, I've noticed the same. Also, I've noticed other IE windows slow to a crawl at random times will backtracking.
Aside from the smartass IE comments...

Yup, I have been experiencing hang-ups, slow load times, etc. in both Firefox and Flock.

I've experienced absolutely none of the issues that I've been having with IE on a PC with Safari on my Mac.

I'm having this problem as well. The page will load fully and then say done in the IE window. All I will see is the background of dollar signs. Then I have to click reload a few more times and it then works fine. until I go to another topic.

Same problem here (using IE... have the problem on 2 seperate computers- one at home one at work). Sometimes the pages load just fine, other times it hangs for 1-2 mins before loading. And it can be ANY page for CAG. Home page, forum lists, forums, sending a message/PM, looking at PM's... anything.
