Are there any plans to reduce the amount of text/links on the main cag homepage?
And also updating the homepage with a new look or banner anytime soon?

The question has been asked a multitude of time. I think Cheapy is just busy or something. I haven't been able to stand the front page since the re-design and usually just go straight to the forums or check my RSS feeds for the frontpage content.

Honestly, the frontpage needs another re-design. I personally don't think yellow and green on gray look good at all.

It Just gives me a headache (all the ads/text).
I suck at html but im sure out of the cag community there are some l33t html heads that could give cag a more deserving frontpage now that its becoming more and more famous.

I told you i suck. but a quick 5 min facelift and banner makes a huge difference.

It's a bit confusing at first, but once you get used to it, you know where to find everything. It might be a deterrent to new users, though.

I don't mind it. I usually just scan the lastest posts in all the forums, and look at the main deal "headlines" to see if I've missed anything. I do like being able to see the latest posts in all the forums in one place though. So I could go either way as far as a redesign, but I hope Cheapy would keep that feature going.

removed all ads
removed -"Featured" column which was/is just ads/links.
changed color to white looks a little better then dark gray and gray.
not much of a difference.looks a "little" nicer imo" and cag being ad supported i dont know if enough people actually click on the main page ads compared to people clicking and buying through all the links posted on the forums.

If you're going to go as far as removing all ads and shopping links, why don't you just RSS feed the headlines off the front page onto your own page/browser/email and not even bother to look at it?

The main page, as is, is fine.
