Unless I'm just CRAZY tired, I just heard the sportscasters on ESPN say that Jerry Rice, among other NFL greats, were on hand for the midnight release of Madden in a small town in MS. They then said, "Everyone in the town got an Xbox 360".

Looked it up and I guess you're not too tired. They only had to give away 74, 360 systems though (cheap bastards).

Yes, those cheap EA bastards, they should have shelled out the 29 million dollars to give 360's to 73,000 people.
You people DO know the reason behind this? Because the town is named MADDEN. Not EA or MS's fault that the town is a podunk hole-in-the-wall.

I was going to give most of them the benefit of the doubt on that, but I'm not so willing to assume internet connections. At least it wasn't in Amish country.
I suppose it is too late to get my town's name changed to Oblivion.

Why on earth would anyone want their town to be named after a fat guy with triple chins and grey hair?
And if Sega gave any systems they'd be praised because they haven't made a profit since the sega saturn era :lol:
With all the money they make off of doing nothing the least they could do is give the town Xbox 360s.
