I like how they don't even know what the plush doll is.

Hmm... not sure what to do on that one. Plush could be cool if I knew what it was, but there's no way I'm paying $50 for Elebits. Hopefully that price changes soon.

This game looks fun. Does anyone know if you can get the bonus if your preorder in-store? Not that I really need a "Plush", but it would be a nice bonus to a game I will probably pick up.

That is usually the case, with the "while supplies last" disclaimer.

I'm hoping I get my DQ Heroes and Death Jr (DS) bonuses.

If anyone needs your full price purchases, its 3rd parties.

If anyone needs your full price purchases, its 3rd parties. Oh, I know it. I'm just hoping "full price" is not $50 for this particular game. Seems like far too much of a tech-demo feel, unless they can illustrate how I will play that game for more than 2 hours.

So does this confirm an October 2 release date? Hmm?

At least they aren't charging $60 for it like Gamerush!

But you are right - I view this game kind of like the first Katamari, which was a quirky game with unknown appeal that retailed for $20 (though from what I've seen seems to have more content than Elebits). I could see $30 for Elebits, being that it is out on the new system at all - but no more, unless, as you say, there is much more to the game than we've seen so far.

So, it should be $30. If it is a big hit, then the sequel could be $40 - kind of like how Namco kept bumping up the Katamari prices with each version, the PSP one being the last and most expensive.

Speaking of Katamari, when will Namco revive that franchise for the Wii? I know the guy who created it said 'no more', but it seems like a sure money-maker to me.

Some of those private Wii parties are going on up through Mid-October though, so that pretty much rules out anything until late Oct/early Nov.

I imagine this game will drop in price quick, it just doesn't look all that great in my opinion.

I'd love to get the plushie for my girlfriend though, maybe I can get one for free from a cool employee.

Many times they get the preorder bonus shipped with the game.

And damn, now I have to preorder this :P Keeping the preorder would be up for debate, however.

I was debating what second game I will be pre-ordering with the Wii besides Twilight Princess... I am still leaning towards Excite Truck.

Sweet. I like the second one more than the regular Elebit. Luckily I'm very friendly with all the staff of my local GameStop, so I shouldn't have any problem getting a hold of one of these.

Yeah, I like the one on the right more. I'm really unsure about Elebits, I think I'm leaning more towards Trauma Center as my second game. Hopefully I can get one of the employees at my Gamestop to supply me with one without preordering.

I don't know if it's right or wrong but...

I pre-order stuff all the time and then move the money around. I'll pre-order games that I'm not sure if I'm gonna buy just to help the staff make thier weekly preorder numbers.

Then if I change my mind, I'll just move it to a game I know I'm gonna pick up.

So, I'll be pre-ordering Elebits. I am interested in it, but there is a chance that come 9/19 I'll just move that $5 over to pay for Red Steel.

It's not like I'm pre-ordering it to get the plush knowing full well I won't get the game. More like I'm interested, but I reserve the right to change my mind.

But don't they usually only give you the pre-order bonuses when you go to pick up the game? It would work for stuff they have on hand, but that isn't all that often.

It depends really, sometimes they do get it in pretty early. The last thing I pre-ordered and changed my mind about was Harvest Moon DS. I put down $5 and they had the pre-order keychain then, so, I got it then.

When it seemed like she was gonna get me it for my Birthday, I had them move the money to Castlevania.

So... yeah, it depends if they have it or not.

This game looks good, but not $50 good. Hopefully it will only sell for $30.

Which might happen to me during my pre-order and pick up day. But in the meantime, I'm willing to invest $5... particularly for free schwag.
