I thought I was going to get 3 amazing deals at Gamecrazy today, but ended up only getting 1.
They had "Digital Devil Saga 2" up on the wall behind a sign that said $19.99.
Better yet, they had a used copy of Document of Metal Gear Solid 2 on the PS2 used shelf for... $4.99! I almost peed myself.
The employee starts looking for Document and says "We don't have this game." What?! I had also pulled 2 other $4.99 games for the B2G1 deal. I asked him to look again. He says flatly "I know we don't have this game."
Plus, Digital Devil Saga was on the wrong shelf. It was $39.99
At this point I was pissed because I thought this was just another way to say "One of the employees already set this aside" or "Im buying this as soon as you leave." He was pretty unapologetic about it and couldn't even manage a "sorry." Grrrrrr.
But actually, after he said it, he took the sleeve out of the case and tossed it in the trash can. I asked if I could have it, so now I have a (free) empty Document case. So at least I know he wasn't getting it for himself.
After that I wasn't interested in the other 2 (crap) $4.99 games.
On the plus side, I found a new copy of Mega Man Zero 2 for $19.99 which seems to be pretty rare these days.
