I got a 360 about a month ago, and so I put all of my good saves (Fable, Riddick, etc) on an Xbox memory card, but well, now that my normal Xbox was sold, is there anyway to transfer the files, or will there ever be?
Would loading the files onto my friends Xbox, then connect the 360 and Xbox together, then transfer data, would that work?
I really want to finish Fable but not play it over again (I was pretty far)

Yea, i'd go for the Transfer Kit. Otherwise you'd have to get one of the Sata adapters for the harddrive, then something else to connect the Xbox 1 to your pc (though ftping isnt that hard at all)

Gawd, I wish one of the cheesy third parties would come out with a cheap, simple SATA ---> USB cable so I could just pop off the hard drive and do this shit easily on my PC. So far I've only seen relatively expensive homebrew solutions and that $50 XSATA thing.

if you know what youre doing you could take your hard drive out of the case and plug it into a sata cable or a sata to usb enclosure
