There is an auto update now available for 'Street Fighter II’ Hyper Fighting (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/s/streetfighter2livearcadexbox360/default.htm).' Xbox Live users will be automatically prompted to accept this auto update the next time they sign in to Xbox Live with SF:II. When I asked what the update does, I got this from the marketing team:
The title update will address connection and time out issues that have been reported by players. In addition, the Leaderboards will be cleared in order to offset players that have cheated by causing intentional disconnections.

I would have posted in the big SFII thread, but I'd figure it get lost there and it be best to start a new one.

Great news.I didn't think they would actually patch it. I'll be playing this much more often than I do now.

So now when someone drops, will they get the loss and the other person get the win?

i hope so. i'm tired of people trash talking then disconnecting when they see thier ass is getting handed to them on a silver platter.
this is probably the reason for the stats reset as well.

How about they patch it so the single player doesn't kick my a$$ up and down. I know I suck but that is good news for online play.

wrong. It's good, but like you were saying, the only real problem is the controller, which can be fixed by buyign a arcade stick.

Anyone try it yet? Are the lag issues gone? I was hesitant in buying the game with all the reported lag.

Lag is still a problem. I seem to have more games with lag then I did pre-patch. Also even the matches that didn't seem to have lag the controllers felt off somehow. Maybe its just me, but did anyone else notice this?

Patch didn't seem to help. Oh well, thanks anyway Capacom.
A patch is needed to adjust the "hyper fighting" speed though.
