Ok, what new PSP games have came out recently? I'm going up north to my wifes cottage this weekend, and I have TWO free blockbuster rentals. I haven't really played my PS lately....
The last games I played were:
- Daxter (own it)
- Syphon Filter (rented)
- Lemmings (rented)
So, anything newer than that, I have no clue.
I'm thinking Madden possibly.....what else?
Thanks!

Field Commander!!! its like 3D advance wars
Megaman Powered Up - fast, fun, game
Burnout Legends - If you have a psp, you need a good racing game, and if you need a good racing game you need burnout

Super Ghouls and Ghosts got pushed forward to this week. Too bad it wasn't next weekend, cuz Loco Roco comes out.

Yeah, Loco Roco is fun...I can play the demo though while I'm on vacation. I'm off to rent games here soon.

Since you're married, why couldn't you refer to it as "MY cottage" or "OUR cottage"? Did she make you sign a pre-nup or something? ;)

Ultimate Ghosts 'N Goblins, not Super Ghouls and Ghosts. You just exposed your noobhood to the world, friend.

Sorry, it's actually her grandma's cottag....my family has one also, so that's how we keep them straight.
Anyways, my Blockbuster had the WORST PSP selection.
I ended up getting Madden 07 and MLB The Show. I like sports games, but I wanted some other games, but they had nothing else I wanted....pretty piss poor selection.

If you like sports games you can probably play Tecmo Super Bowl and Baseball Stars, depending on the firmware you are using.
Those are the only 2 sports games I still play.

Am I the only one that doesn't have a cottage?
Anyways, Lumines/Hot Shots/Kingdom of Paradise get my vote.

No, I upgraded a while back. I hate those games on my PSP....they seemed a bit tired and boring after while though.

Wow - it's like i'm looking (or reading?) into a mirror. Those are the only 2 sports games that I still play too.
I did just get a copy of MLB '06 The Show and Madden 2007 and they seem OK I guess but I know I won't go back to them like Tecmo and Baseball Stars.

Sorry, all the new stuff is way too complicated for me. I can't recommend much else. Too many buttons and control schemes to remember. Takes the fun out of it for me. It's like I have to get all serious and study to play a game. Take a break for more then a few days or weeks and I have to open up the instruction manual for a refresher. 2-buttons, 1 directional pad for both offense and defense is about all I can handle.
Nostalgia or not, it's still more fun and has more pick up and play-ability for me. I had Bo Jackson in Tecmo Super Bowl get injured half way through the season and Tim Brown the game after. Then I got stuck playing the 49ers, my ass was wasted. Now that was fun! To me anyway.

So what do you think of Madden '07? I'm quite impressed, but as always, I'm awful at Pro Football games. I never get the passing right (I always panic too soon and throw into coverage) and I'm at a total loss for defensive play calling. Still, for a portable game, it's a pretty reasonable facsimile of the console game.

I thought Madden 07 was actually pretty good. I only got ot play maybe 3 games, but it seemed fun. Seems a LOT better than last year for some reason.
MLB The Show was pretty good....although, I didn't read the manual, so baserunning was a bit odd at first. I could NOT hit either. Seems pretty good though.
