I just put this game in for the first time 5 minutes ago and I'm already having problems with it.
Every time I insert the disc in my Xbox starts making really bad sounds. It starts buzzing really loudly. The game still runs, but the buzzing is just so loud I have to turn the volume up rediculously high just to hear it. Plus I feel like something bad is happening in my 360.
I can run Dead Rising just fine, it's just Saints Row that's doing it. Please help me! Ireally want to play it!
Not sure, but I hope it is just your copy and not all of them.
Maybe try returning it from where you bought it? Will be a little longer to play it, but the copy you get will be better.

It happens to my 360 rarely, stops after a restart or a couple minutes of getting used to it.
If it happens everytime with only that game, I guess the games screwed.

Well it's actually stopped in a way. There's no more buzzing but I do get an occassional ugly sound.

My game does it as well, I was assuming it did that since the game using streaming technology to limit load times.

im assuming your 360 is laying down horizontally, if so its most likely the disk

Wrap your 360 with alot of blankets and there the noise will be quieter or even gone.

Mine does it sometimes too. I've thought about getting my 360 replaced AGAIN for a 3rd time if it continues or gets worse. I'll definitely get it replaced by the time my warrenty ends. It's not just this game, it does it on Dead Rising and Oblivion too, and did it pretty bad in Prey.

It's vertical, and it's definetly the disk because Dead Rising plays just fine.

um.....any suggestions that would cause less.................fire?

That definetly sounds like a problem with the 360.
Well the buzzing is still happeneing but not as much. I have to try taking the disc in and out a couple of times to get it to run without so much buzzing. Only now after long periods of playing, the screen starts to do these weird flashy/glitchy things. I'm really getting sick of all the problems my 360 is having. Why can't it just work?!

How is the buzzing if you have your 360 horizontal?

Sounds like a misbalanced or warped disc. Occasionally discs have weight unevenly distributed around the disc due to manufacturing flaws, which can result in noisy playback.

Yeah that's the conclusion I came to. That's why I was just gunna replace the disc and not the 360.
It amazes me how I somehow always manage to grab the single faulty product off the shelf every time I buy something. Seriously, I have to exchange over half the stuff I buy just because I always magically grab a broken one.
