Pawn Shop Finds

Went to the pawn shop today and got a few good finds.

Resident Evil 4 PS2 complete (scratched) - $8
Resident Evil 4 PS2 complete (mint) - $10
Fight Night Round 3 PS2 complete (mint) - $10
NCAA Football 2007 PS2 complete (mint) - $10
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 DC disc only (few marks) - $5

I ended up taking the scratched RE 4 to GS and got $14 in credit for it before bonuses and Fight Night Round 3 was $17 before bonuses. I just applied them to preorders and with the 10% extra towards preorders plus the 10% extra from the GS card, I ended up with $34.10 in credit.

So, I got 5 games, got rid of 2 and with taking credit into account, only spent about $8 on everything. I'll be getting rid of NCAA as well, just waiting to hear the deal the manager was talking about come up. He didn't have specifics on it or I would post it in the Deals forum.

Pretty good stuff there, my pawn shops have been drained of stuff for well over a year now.

Nice, the only "pawn" shops I have it Goodwill, never stopped in though, guess I should go check it out sometime

Clean up Marvel VS Capcom 2 with a disc buffer, find a case and manual for it, and you've got a valuable item on your hands.

The game is really not in bad shape at all... except I just saw that someone took a black marker to the SEGA DREAMCAST on the front of the disk:bomb:... I should be able to get that off though, so not much of a problem. Even w/o the case and manual, its still a nice game to have in the collection.

Oh yea, I live in a college town, so my pawn shops have been dead for a while now... past 6 months at least but now that the students are back, they are dumping stuff there so they can get various items.

Good finds, I dont find good things usually, but when I was at a pawn shop a few days ago I saw Code Veronica for GC for $10 but I didnt buy it...I know its worth more than that, but I wont play it so yeah...waste of money to me :-P
