View Full Version : How do you stream or watch video through Windows Media Player?

Hey I know how to look at pictures and listen to music through the 360 but I cannot watch movies or video's throught the internet connection??? what up with that? like it says you can do that but I still am lost please somone help me or give me a guide to do it.

Do you have windows xp media center edition? If you don't you can only stream music and look at pictures.

shit, well thx for telling me I think it's lame. Why cant I just use the Actual Windows Media Player 10 or something to stream it?

because, microsoft wants to make more money off of you. I just got a media center PC and I would have to say it is amazing. it's ALL the control of the media center PC on your xbox, so you can watch tv and still press the guide button and have the dashboard pop up.

Integrate HD CableCard and I'm sold. Until then, well... nope.

I have to admit, though, being able to hop in between gaming and TV AND be able to keep track of what people are playing is a great feature.

I've been tempted to buy a copy of Media Center in the past because of the 360 features, but with Vista about 6 months away (...probably) I can wait.

You know they'll integrate some new features with their spring update that tie it in with the 360 to try to get 360 owners to switch to Vista.
