If I import Japanese Samba De Amigo Maraccas will they work on my Dreamcast with a US version of the game???

While on the subject, for the record, if anyone ever gets an offer or comes across third party Samba De Amigo Maracas, don't waste your time. I remember going through two different sets of them back when they came out, and they were all complete garbage.

Yeah, my friend killed a pair of 3rd party ones. But I don't know if he played the crap out of them or what.
I had some Nyko maracas back in the day. I gave em to my Samba freak friend. They were good. And they came with some of the best Engrish instructions I've ever read.
I have a pair of the first-party maracas, and while they are good, you have to be incredibly on time, and in the right place. It's harder for me to play with the maracas, and not because I'm too slow or anything, it's just not the greatest sensor-system.
