I just started up my 360 to play a litte more Rogue Trooper (a game I've been playing all week since it went BC) and I got the "An update for this game has been released on Xbox Live" message after it booted the game. Anyone know what this is about? I check majornelson and it had nothing.

They probably swapped Scramble and the Uno deck, I'm assuming they wanted the Uno deck to come out around the camera's launch. I'm all over that new Uno deck though - it's pretty annoying that it has taken them this long to get a new deck out for one of their most popular games.

Lumines has been rumored for the 13th for a while now, but now that Scramble will probably be next week's game, I would not expect to see Lumines until the end of the month. Maybe even later if MS holds true to form.

This doesn't warrant its own thread - but the XBL Arcade wikipedia article has a comment from some guy who said he emailed Midway about UMK3, and they responded it'll launch with MK: Armageddon in October (no surprise there, especially since the PS2 collector's version of Armageddon has UMK3 on it). He also claimed Midway stated it would have upgraded visuals. I just hope it's for title screens/widescreen/effects only. Changing the core elements like gameplay graphics would probably just cause trouble like it did with Frogger.

I checked this morning. There were 3 courses, 1 of which was marked free. The other two had prices of $4.99. I didn't attempt to download those (as I didn't want to run the risk of being charged). Any idea where we can find out this information? I want those other two courses.

Xbox Live members can now download the free ‘Launch Pack’ for TDU. In the pack, you’ll find: The Audi RS4 quattro Saloon and the Nissan Skyline GTR R34. This content is available in all Xbox Live regions.

You still need to ‘purchase’ these cars in the game…but after you download ‘em, head to the nearest Audi or Nissan dealer and check them out. The in-game sticker price on the Nissan is 50k and the Audi is 80k.

I'm going to start downloading the NBA demo now. I've been hoping they'd come out with one soon and I've been looking forward to this game and reading previews for the last month or so. Sounds about right. Also depends on how quickly the xbl network is moving (some times are far better for downloads than others because of less traffic).

I don't know if its me but the Tenchu demo sucks ass. I couldn't figure out how to unsheath my sword until I went up behind an opponent and pressed X. Then once I got the sword out the only attacks I could do was the same 3 hit combo. Wasn't very fun at all, maybe theres more to it, but right now the game wouldn't be worth $10 to me.

I think we've all seen enough stupid ass CG from Forza 2 for one. The Lost Odessey Trailer was pure crap (sticked opening and ending CG from beginning sequence of the demo). For some reason they removed the music from the beginning CG part too which was extremely strange...

As soon as I saw the words "WWE" & "Demo", I bolted to my 360. I'm not sure I've ever moved as fast before :)

Maybe this demo will erase the bad taste left in my mouth by the disapointing FEAR & Sonic demos (FEAR was disapointing because iit was so damn short, while Sonic had way too much slowdown for a 360 title).

Obi-wan (Jedi Master) is really bugged. It looks like he's unassembled while he's moving around. The other characters I tried worked fine though.

Concept wise I like the way Army of Two sounds, its my primary choice just by that. If it ends up looking like the trailer :shock:

Don't know much about Kane and Lynch, the graphics didn't look that great but atleast it didnt seem like it was prerendered stuff. I honestly haven't read up much on it though.
