I'd only say it is somewhat rare because they hardly bothered to market it.
This was originally developed by Hasbro under the name Isyx. We had a prototype at Cinemaware when they were looking to entice us into developing for it. This was the platform that Digital Pictures was created to support. The games Night Trap, Sewer Shark, Make Your Own Video, and a few others were originally designed for this.
Hasbro couldn't get the price down below $300, which they considered very high since a VCR was also required. They killed the project and it was resurrected a few years later, mainly running edutainment titles with Disney characters. The project was also sometimes called NEMO for Never Ever Mention Outside. There is a hidden bit of video on the Sega CD Sewer Shark disc that shows a presentation of NEMO.

Holy god. Look at that controller.
At least I hope it's a controller...

Attention epobirs's family and/or friends:
The other day in a toy store, I saw a version of play@home Jeopardy entitled the Ken Jennings version.
This might be a good gift for epobirs, as I think he is the only person alive who stands a chance at dethroning that trivia demon.

Believe it or not it is a controller, probably the strangest one ever made... (or at least that i have seen!), the controller also cannot be removed from the system. The power supply has a weird connector to connect it to the system as well, very strange.
I started the bid really low, i just want someone to take this off my hands.

Controller can't...wtf.
How am I supposed to use this for my perverted sexual escapades, hmm?
My old lady might be okay if I just had the controller, but not when it's attached to that oversized Lego brick of a console.
