I have to write a 1,000 page Argumentative paper for Comp 2. Im thinking this will be much easier if I write something about gaming...however I cant seem to find any great articales. Im thinking maybe something about the PS3 since with the price, technology of Blue ray and the many other controversies it will make an easy paper. But, im open to anythig.

If anyone knows any good articles, preffarbly long ones please post.

1,000 words or 1,000 pages?

Hehe sorry. Obviously 1,000 words. Its supposed to be around 1,000 words and be a "review" per say of an argument giving its strengths and weaknesses.

I was going to say damn thats hard to argue that long about something.

I would right about violence in video games causing violence in the real world. Should find plenty on that sub. look at what gta did in the news.

You would be better off writing that as 1000 pages instead of words. No way you could sum it up that short :).

My personal favorite is P2P Vs. RIAA and MPAA.

Ok, but the arguments surrounding PS3 right now aren't "oh, it's better than Xbox" so much. And the ones that are rehash the same junk. If you're not creating your own arguments, but completing an analysis of another's argument, you'll want to look for something that is quite strong.

I think your selection of arguments is larger in the video games beget violence genre. Or, you could focus on the labeling keeping violent games out of kids' hands, which it doesn't. Some fair arguments have been done on that.

Has the instructor put any parameters on documentation style, types of sources allowed? As in, can you use primary research. looking at message boards such as this one? I always make my students do some primary research, either an interview or lecture or message board posting or whatnot. Most kids hate it, which I don't get, as it's way easier than slogging through printed materials.

You can make a dedication paper to how Steve Erwin was the best OneWithNature man. I am sure if you read anything he has done, you can write for pages about all the things he has explained so people can understand animals. But 1000pageS? You getting your masters or something?
