Sega Mini MegaDrive releasing in Japan

I was recently un-IP banned from GameFAQs and I went lookie-lookie on some forums I liked. Someone posted this:

Can't add any games besides the ones included :(, but still kind of cool. Includes Sonic 1, Golden Axe, Kid Chameleon(sp?), Mean Bean Machine, Flicky, and another.

I have a Genny 3 - that's as small as I want to get with it. I had to stick the damn thing down with two-sided tape as it is just to keep it from sliding off the stand when it's played.

That would be Altered Beast. I'm suprised they gignt give you a 6 buttoing controller but then again all of these are early games and barely use 2 of the 3 in most cases.

I'm surprised at Kid Chameleon. Sega still seems to acknowledge it exists, so I'll keep hoping for a sequel.

In any case, it looks cool, but it would be nice if it was quickly discovered how to hack the hardware to get more games on it.

wow that thing is amazing, it's just like those namco & atari contollers that have games built in. I really hope sega brings this to the states. I don't see why the wouldn't. I would buy this thing in a second.

If it's cheap enough, I might get it. I can't see paying more than $40 for it but I'm sure it will be around $50-$60 or more on the import sites.

I honestly wouldn't pay more than $25 for that. Why would you throw down that much money for just a few games?

To leave it in the car (flip down LCD screen in the back seat), it's a lot easier than bringing a system and cartridges.

I got really pissed off at all the fonboys...etc so I suicided :)
