I just got a brand new dell laptop and it has media center on it. What should I do with it. I don't have any of my music on my laptop yet seeing how I'm getting an external harddrive seeing how I have almost 55gigs. I really don't know what to do with my computer. I have an hdtv that I just purchased and I have an HD cable box. I'm going to get a dvd recorder and up converting dvd player here soon but is there a way to record programs from my t.v directly onto my laptop and then have it on my media center and watch it through my 360. I have tryed to hook my 360 up to my media center before and have even entered the code and done all the setup. The problem is I can't ever connect after that. My laptop is in my room running off a wireless internet and my 360 also is running off a wireless converter both from linksys. It just doesnt seem to connect. I have never tryed placing my laptop downstairs by the router and seeing if it would connect then though. Thanks alot guys.
