Fellow CAG, not certaint if this is news or if any of you cares... but I thought this is a pretty good deal.

The Logitech Driving Force Pro is (IMO) one of the best wheels available at the moment. It retails for $129.99 and the only deal I can find are from CC @ $119.99 and BB @ $106.99 (with 20% off from buying a new system deal). Then I looked into Frys and found outpost.com has it at $79.99! Here's the link:

The catch is Fry's stores wont match their own sites online price! They are still selling it at $129.99 (at least in south-CA). Nonetheless, even if you have to pay shipping ($19) it's still a decent deal.

However, being a CAG, I tried to get BB & CC to price match. I went to BB first, that sucked as they called Fry's to confrim the online price and they told me BB doesnt match online only deals... then I went to CC, they looked up the outpost.com price, which matched with the print out of the page I took in with me, and they gave me the price match with the 10% extra in difference - I got it for $75.99 + tax! Sweet... :bouncy: :bouncy:

Good luck to all who is interested to score this baby for $80!

they turst that you didnt edit teh website printout? Will they check the site themselves sometimes or do they usually just trust the customers?

Man I really want this but I shouldn't be spending my money

What I love about the Driving Force PS2 wheels is that since they are USB you can also use them on your computer. If only logitech released a driver for the XBOX 360...

Best wheel evar. I got mine for $99 a year ago, so this is a sweet deal.

I love my DFP/Playseat:

I got mine at the Burbank CC (they still have one left), they looked at my print out and then went to the outpost.com to confirm. As long as they don't call Fry's to price check you're fine!

Good luck mate, this is a awesome dael for me!

Other than GT4, which games are "must haves" for this wheel? I'm especially interested in some rally racing.

darkchild: That playseat is a freaken dream matey... one of these days I'll have me one of those too... :)

Great wheel, good price. Matches the 50% off clearance at Rhino I got mine at.

auctually I remember that compusa was clearing out DFP's at the Puette Hills mall in CA for around $70 too! I'm gonna go check it out in case they still have them because when I was there they had like 10 of em stacked.
