Yeah, tis been that price for a while. Still, great game. Your only excuse for not grabbing this is that you are waiting for that "If I buy it now, in two weeks it'll drop more." price drop.

Or that the music sucks.

I always almost get this game, but everyone says there is a lot of item collecting in it which makes me pass on buying it.

Good game, but I liked the first one a lot more. But at <$10, I highly recommend it. :)

It IS a Metroid game. You do the same dang thing in all the Castletroids, too.

I like Metroid, and I enjoyed the first Metroid Prime up to the collecting the artifacts part since I had to actually spend forever looking for all of them since all you got were not very good hints. Still, I dont mind item collecting, I just mind it when thats what most of the game is about.

Considering the artifacts I think there might be less collecting shit in prime 2. Other than the regular upgrades and what-not there are just a few keys to get aren't there? I haven't actually beaten it, I'm only like an hour or so into it, but that's my impression from glancing at gamefaqs :-P.

lmao, yeah, sure, if you consider the the keys you need to enter the Sky/Dark Sky Temples (that's 18 in all right there I think), and all the other keys you need to unlock the other temples (it's been a couple years since finishing it, but I remember it being fucked up crazy close to the end with all the key searching), then yeah, there's "just a few" you need to find. >_<

This key searching, and the incredible difficulty of some of the bosses, really took away some of the fun. It's also why I like the first MP a lot more. But for $10, MP2 is still a quality game. Just get yourself a walkthrough so you can find all those damn keys. >_<

Bah, I loved both MP1 and MP2, and I normally hate collect-a-thons. (I'm LOOKING AT YOU DK64!) MP1 and MP2 handled the collecting really well.

And, let's be honest, the MP1 artifact hints TOLD YOU IN COLORED TEXT THE NAME OF THE ROOM THEY WERE IN.

Woot, key searching and difficult bosses sound good! I feel games these days are waaaaay too easy so a challenge would be nice. Time for me to be busting out my gamecube again.
