Got Onimusha 3 and Tekken 5 (non-GH) at Manhattan Beach Fry's. They ran out on the shelf, so had the lady check the computer, had about 10-15 left of each. She went into the section next to the cage (with the CPUs/mem), and got some more outta some boxes.

Had Onimusha 3 on order from Amazon since the beginning of August, and it keeps getting pushed back. Happy, I finally got it and canceled the Amazon order. Couldn't find Onimusha 3 @ CC because it seemed it was cleared out fast.

Now to wait on price drop on Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams.

I picked up Onimusha 3, Monster Hunter, Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (PS2) yesterday.

Initially, I didn't know the sale price of MK:SM was for the XBox only. When it rang up at $19.99. I said to the cashier that it was in the ad. So he looked at his letter sized photocopy of the newspaper sized ad and it's in there (probably he didn't read the Xbox fine print since it's so small). He just keyed in the SKU instead and charged me $9.99 for each game. On the way to the car park, then I realized the receipt said XBox version of MK:SM. Oh, well :D

Man, I hate the new way the Fry's Ads are set up. They show the full price of the game, with a note that says the amount off in an "instant savings" thing.

Problem is, I loved to use the Fry's Ad to price match to BB, and getting the limited editions for normal edition sale price, cause BB is dumb as hell.

Is Fry's price match policy pretty much the same as Best Buy's? I bought Enchanted Arms a week or two ago for $55, and now it's on sale for $50. If I bring my receipt to customer service, will they refund me the difference?

Yup, all you need is the receipt. Ask for an LPG (low price guarantee) against Fry's itself. You have 30 days for this. Oh, also, make sure you specifically ask for credit back to your card straight away. Otherwise they'll give you a gift certificate that can be put towards your card, but it has to be done at the Checkout. It's a ploy to make you buy something. If you paid with cash though, of course you'll have to go back to the Checkout.

I had a hunch about a month ago that Xenosaga II was going to go on sale. So I hid a copy for myself in a different section and waited for the price drop. And Luckily today, I dug it out of my secret stash and guaranteed myself a copy. =) thank god for my secret stash. All other copies were sold out.

I called the City of Industry Fry's (LA county) and according to the sales clerk I spoke with they're selling LEGO Star Wars II PS2 for 39.99. The Anaheim store (Orange county) confirmed the 29.99 sale price over the phone, but they weren't sure if they had any in stock (their computer showed 30 in stock but they didn't have any out on the floor).

I wish I had the newspaper ad so I could just go price match it at CC. :(

Totally forgot to look for HL2 as I decided I'd wait for the 360 version. In my experience, that Frys has never been sold out of a game I wanted though. They have TONS sitting in boxes above the actual game shelves.
