I got it and Loco Roco yesterday. I love GG reloaded, and the beat em up isnt too shabby either. :D

it's a pretty good deal, there are some flaws inthe judgement game, though the coop is mildly fun. sucks how it only has reload instead of the latest GGX like the Japanese version of Judgement.

Oops, I've been so busy that I forgot this game came out. Anyway, I'm just going to import the Asia version (Yeah, I can't believe I'm actually importing) because it's the same price as the U.S. version, and it comes with Slash instead of Reloaded. Slash is what I want (since I own Reloaded on Xbox while owning the original X2 for PS2).

i was a little disappointed that they didnt include the slash version, but i never picked up the GG: reload for psp, so im pretty satisfied with this portable GG.

Same here. This game would have sold an extra thousand or five thousand more copies had Slash been on there. Oh well, import for me (and I really wanted to see the Judgement story in Eng ga ma lesh).

I imported it and have been addicted to judgment mode for the past week...unlocked the character Judgment and a bunch of the other fighters. Slash is a perfect port afaik and kicks ass.
Haven't beat the last stage yet...it's fucking hard!

Apossum made me import Judgment... admittedly, I still have to order it, but probably in the next couple of days. Judgment sounds pretty frickin' awesome from what I've been hearing and Slash alone makes the game worth having.
i already have slash on PS2 so i am not going to import.

how is the PSP D-Pad with this game? (or the import for that matter)
I want to import the Japanese version, but not if the D-Pad is unresponsive.

You do understand that it's not the software's fault that the hardware sucks right? So the d-pad issue is a universal problem for all games.
With that said it is as good as your abilty to hit diagonals on the d-pad.

I remember a PSP d-pad mod being sold on some import games site, but I forgot which one it was. I wish I knew, because I'd buy it.

when I had a black psp, GGX2Reload played almost perfectly. Dragon punch and more complex motions like F + HCF were difficult, but do-able. I imagine it's about the same on this one.

(actually... more technical than deep)
they could make the port as perfect as possible,
but you still won't get getting like 75% of the gameplay with a dpad

Yea, I realize that. But some fighting games work well with the D-Pad and some don't. Playing Darkstalkers on my PSP almost made me want to chuck the thing out the window.
Also I do realize they are different games, but Tekken for PSP, I use the D-Pad 100% of the time and I don't find it annoying to use.

the d-pad is ok. diagonals are a pain in the ass.
with tekken i tend to switch between d-pad and analog for certain moves.
anyone have a link to that d-pad mod? i think im gonna do that tonight.

My D-Pad was to much of a bitch even for Tekken.
Back on subject of GGXXSlash. I don't see why doing other crazy crap like roman cancels and what not would be hard to pull off. Hopefully you weren't using all the extra shoulder buttons on your PS2 as a crutch. I used to do that with VF4.

I finally picked up the game, the U.S. version. I considered getting the Asia version many times, but I wanted my copy to be fully English text (for Judgement), so I went ahead and picked it up. GGX2 #Reloaded translates to PSP pretty good, although some of the modes have been removed unfortunately. At first I was like, is this game really woth the $40 I paid for it (I paid $40, since it's becoming very hard to find). I played Judgement next, and all I gotta say is that it surprised me. I expected it to be very slow, with manual turn, like GG Isuka. It turned out to be very fast, fun, awesome soundtrack, etc. I'm very glad I bought it and love it.
