Last I heard over 60% of the country hates their job period. Though if I had a job (currently unemployed) that I actually enjoyed going to and my co workers and my manager(s) weren't total assholes only out to make working a living hell, I'd immensly enjoy working.

I found out (in a thread on here, actually) that uTorrent seems to have some kind of uploading -> downloading ratio, where if you don't upload enough you'll have shit for speed. You, however, seem to have no upload limit. Try limiting it to something like 25 or 30 (mine's at 33). Also, check to see if your ports are configured correctly, and try disabling uPnP or whatever.

Keep in mind that if there aren't many seeds, speeds may be naturally low.

I was thinking about possible Black Friday DVD deals, and it wouldn't surprise me at all to see Lost Season 1 + Desperate Housewives Season 1 at something like $19.99 a piece at Best Buy.

It makes sense for Disney / Buena Vista, get people to grab Season 1 of each, get them hooked, then get them to drop good money on Season 2 and you'll create lifelong fans of both shows who can't wait for new episodes or new DVD's.

I don't really think there are any high profile DVD sets that haven't gotten completely cheap lately that would draw enough people in.

Last year, stuff like That 70's Show, Simpsons Season 5, and Seinfield 1+2 were all $19.99 but now there are TONS of DVD box sets in those series and others that have been $19.99 repeatedly. I guess they could do 24 Season 4 + The Shield Season 4 for $19.99 but a deal like that is kinda boring and too close to their deal last year.

Since I had to work on Black Friday, my parents actually went to Best Buy to get it for me... my Mom found the last S2 of 24 and some guy tried to rip it out of her hands, my Dad almost got into a fight with the guy.

Yea, I'm pretty grateful that they went for me, but this year since I don't have a job with real hours I'll head down there myself, but only if they have something worth getting, which I don't think they will as I got everything I wanted so far.

House Season 1 might show up as well, that's another good canidate.

CD sales used to be killer several years ago, but are total shit now. I remember in 2001 or 2002 Best Buy had all CDs from 10 bucks to 16 bucks on sale for like 8. I picked up a Sasha and Digweed CD Communicate. The sticker had 15.99 on it, but rang up for 17.99. I told the guy and he was like "what the fuck ever". He could have adjusted it right there. But noooo. I had to spend an extra 45 mins in line at the customer service desk to get it adjusted. Its 2 bucks, but still, its the pricinple of it all and his totally shitty attitude.

Needless to say, for what is it, the past 2-3 years, Circuit City has had all CDs normally 10-14 on sale for like 9. I hate to say it, but that totally sucks balls, as they have a sale like that at least 2 or 3 times a year. Like when they had their Labor Day sale.

Demonoid is simply a private tracker, meaning only registered and invited users can use the torrents. What's so special about Demonoid, however, is the seed-to-leech ratio is generally MUCH better than public trackers, resulting in faster speeds. This is done with a ratio quota you need to keep, which is (I believe) a MINIMUM of .500 seed to leech (You download 2 MB for every 1 MB you upload). I personally have a quota of 6.31 :lol:

Personally, I can't wait for FFXII. The gameplay in the demo seemed great to me, and gameplay movies on the big cities and varied environments makes things better. I'm also intrigued by the judges (OPM or PSM, forgot which, had a big article on the judges that was great) and the political storyline, which will hopefully be deeper than most RPG's and actually manage to have me on my toes. And, of course, the graphic upgrades and new skills system look good.

I still think FFVII is my favorite. FFX was alright, but I lost interest before the final battle with Sin. X-2 was pretty good as well.

I also think people give Square Enix a hard time about games that aren't as good as their FF's. I mean, DoC isn't a bad game, but people say it's bad because it's not as good as its prequel. Plus, it's Square's first (I think) attempt at a FPS. If I find it on sale I'll probably grab it.

There is two levels. They last about 10-15 minutes each. If you're only picking it up for the co-op, I would suggest thinking otherwise. The Matchmaking is awesome as is the single player.

The Co-op missions are really fun though. Hopefully they'll add more. It's great that another game other than Halo 2 actually uses matchmaking. It takes too long to get in a game though. The patch is supposed to fix that too.

Being banned from CAG keeps you from logging into CAG as your CAG ID, though you can scan the VGD forum as a guest with an assload of ads on-screen, and you can see the front page deals. You can also be banned only from the Trading Forum, which happens for some people for differing reasons, which just prevents you from going into the CAG Trading Forum and leaving feedback.
