Megaman and Wario may not drop to 9.99 as they are no longer displayed in the price drops section. Wario now is only with the $10 mail in voucher. They wait till you set up this tread to end it, go figure, at least the other games still dropped. Course I could be wrong, but I'd wait till next week to see if they add them back.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, how ironic that this thread gets setup and they don't drop the price on Wario today. No matter for me, I managed to get in on it yesterday, but it took a lot of tries.

I really like the idea of this thread, as EB seems ready and willing to continue their crazy daily price adjustments.

my biggest problem with gamecube is all the games that sell well on it and most of the good ones with a few exceptions are multi-platform games. so why buy them there with that messed up controller, and people freaked out when they got their xbox controllers. i used to love nintendo but the gamecube came out and now i hate them. there are alot of publishers who make ps2 exclusive deals or some that just do it for the fact of it's easier to program one system instead of all three.

anyways can we just keep all console dissing in a different fourm or start a new post, cuz i'm getting sick of them.

I think tht most of the games tht sell well on GC r not multi platform at all.. Pretty much all of the GC's high sellers are nintendo published games or 1st party games.

actually the ps2 itself is the least user friendly of all three consoles...the reason it gets priority for everything i would say is the damn install base..and i have no prob with the gc controller..wave birs is like my fav controller

I agree about the GC games. The really good ones are usually 1st party.
Let's see theres Zelda, Mario, Metriod, Wario, Pikmin Etc. There have been a few 3rd party games that were good but VERY FEW.

The PS2 IMO has some decent games ( I do own one). But most are multi-platform. I have had it for over a year and I only have a handfull of games for it, manly the exclusive games like Getaway, Devil May Cry, Smackdown and Soul Reaver 2 with a few others. Currently the only game I have seen come out for it that interest me has been Transformers. The PS2 may have the most games on the market but that simply means there are lots of shitty PS2 games out there!

Perhaps too you, but most of the good games are Multi-platform. I can't come up with even 30 PS2 games that are only on the PS2 that are worth owning.
The PS2 has too many "me to" games. One successfull game comes out and the next thing you see are the hordes of "me to" games.

for $10, yes. Especially if your going to be playing online. I got it back in Feb and have never regretted it.

Romeo - I know that one of the stores in Tucson, AZ does have same prices for I-Ninja, Spawn and R-Racing (10.99$) It might be YMMV tho, so you might want to give them a call.

I also asked about Dave Mirra (10$ there) Dead to Rights (15$ there) and Haunted Mansion and Counter Strike (both 30$) and they acted like I was on crack. "No no, no 5 or 10 games" (As he rang up an 11$ game lol)

Thanks for the update! I finally ordered Dead to Rights just now so hopefully it will go thru without problems (have had a problem every time I order from EBgames)

One question tho, I notice some people say "XX" amount of copies of this or that left; how do you see the quanity in stock on items? (Maybe I am just missing it's location on the info page?)

Forgot to mention - Also as far as instore EBgames deals, they had Kabuki Warriors for 2.99$ and Dark Angel for 4.99$ (both "new"). YMMV of course, and I can't comment on either game because both were the display, non-sealed "pretend new" so I passed :)

Was this today? Which Dark Angel was it (Xbox based on TV show, PS2 based on TV show, or PS2 DA: Vampire Apocalyse)? They are all supposed to be pretty bad (Kabuki is supposed to be awful).

And you can check the quantity by trying to update your cart with 100 of the game. It will respond with the amount they have.

Yeah -- the guy at my EB price matched the site -- gave me SSX 3 and R Racing for $15 and $11, respectively. The games were shrink wrapped but I sometimes doubt whether the games are entirely "new" They were missing the Xbox sticker seal along the right side -- but I have noticed that some games now don't have this seal -- and that it depends on the retailer you're buying from.

Anyways, just wanted to let you folks know.

I got my copy of Counter-Strike yesterday, and it was re-srinkwrapped, though it still had a sticker on the side. It appears that they opened it to put one of those little security tags that you often find in DVDs in the case. I dont mind, but its wierd that they did that.

Hey -- my games work absolutely fine. If EBGames is resealing games and selling them new, that is a VERY blurry policy. Both R:Racing and SSX 3 were spotless. If they were opened, it doesn't appear as if they were ever played.

Anyways, I'm satisfied -- SSX3 for $15 is a great price from EB and R:Racing isn't half bad.

I have bought a bunch of used games from eb's website and I have never had a problem with any of them. A couple of them have had minor scuffs on the disks but nothing that kept them from playing properly.

Every use game I bought came with like new manuals and covers but the plastic cases are fucked sometimes. I just went down to office depot and bought some dvd cases and you cant even tell that I bought used.

Besides, if the game has problems, just take it to a B&M store and return it...
