Last night I am watching an interaction between 2 people in the third person during a dream and all I can think after I wake up was damn that was some good dialogue. It's good to know my subconcious only hires the best script writers for my entertainment

I wrote down my dream one time because it could make a great hollywood movie. haha It was like a couple months ago.

Bet ya, I get some amazing dreams that are very well done and detailed. My head makes up some weird dreams too.. Most of the time, I just end up flying around in the sky doing nothing like how Neo does in the Matrix. Those dreams are so boring but it's fun to fly around. Powerlines sure get in the way a lot...

Last night's dream, I was at a party on a ship and then we all got knocked out, it looked like the ship crashed so all night we were just hanging out and what not. We were all trapped in this one big room. So later in the dream, there is a door and I am like "Have we tried opening this door?" I open it and we are on an army base and there is a guard on the outside that will not let us leave so we gotta shot our way out. There is a tower infront of us and we had to take out of the guards and make it to the tower. Out of 15 people in our group, 3 got shot down. Once in the tower, we there was an underground path.. we toke that and ran around halls for a long time. We ran out of this building that looked like a school and ran down the street away from this.. building that didn't even look like an army base. Then I walked around streets till I woke up.

Way back when, I used to work 3 jobs, ver 80 hours a week. I didn't sleep a whole lot, but I had AMAZINGLY vivid dreams. Most of them were horror themed, and would have had King pissing himself. Now that I sleep regularly, I hardly ever dream.

I don't write my dreams down unless there is a cute guy in them, and then I remember them anyways.

I have weird dreams sometimes, once I was saving the world from Mech Nazis, and some third group, then another group was trying to kill me. The other day I had a dream that the Cylons were after be and a few others. :)

The ones that really get me are the ones that feel so real that sometimes I'm talknig to a friend and they don't have a clue what I'm talknig about because I only told them in the dream and not in real life.

I have great interest in my dreams. So I got a story about mine... very interesting.

First of all I'm a lucid dreamer. Which means, essentially I control my dreams. However, my sub-conscious fights with me if I get too power hungry (i.e. if I try and burn everything to the ground and enslave my dream army of Ryan Reynolds') so it's more of a passive thing now. As if I'm an X-Men or something.

Anyhow, that's not the story. Story was that when I was just getting good at lucid dreaming that I was talking to someone in my dream one night about my life (a sort of in-dream therapy session, with, I believe it was Brian Littrell from the Backstreet Boys at the time) and I was talking about how my parents were having money problems and it sucked because I wanted this and that and so on and so forth and that I wished I could help, but I couldn't.

Well, he told me 6 numbers. I was like, why are you telling me these numbers? And he repeated them and said wake up and remember them. So, I got up, but I could only remember 4 of them. I told my Mom about the whole thing, and she thought it was odd. Then later, she came back and said that maybe they were numbers for the lottery. So she went out and got a ticket, using the 4 numbers I could remember, and 2 others she thought of.

The 4 numbers from that dream were all right. She got 150 dollars out of it. So now, I get tempted to ask for things, but if I do, I fear that I'll be found out, or lied to. However a bit of information was dropped on me in much a similar matter. I was again talking with someone, also a great looking guy. I said something to the effect of, it's a shame you're only in my dreams, who are you?

He said, April 23rd, 2007. You'll find me, and it'll all be okay.

If that comes true... I think I'm going to freak out. It also leads me to wonder if in fact it is real and would happen, if I then decide to try and avoid meeting anyone that day, would it alter the course of events that were supposed to happen that day or not? Did whoever it was know how saying it would effect me, and through the effect, thereby make what he said a truth? :-s

Also, I've had a poem come to me during one of my dreams. It was the sweetest thing I've ever written on paper. There's also a sort of TV show going on in my head involving a group of mercs for hire, and episodes of it air in my head pretty frequently. Though it is tough to remember them implicitly outside of the dream, I do remember a lot of it and I wish this show was on TV actually. I think we're up to like, about... season 3 or something. :)

Yeah, carry on... :-\"

If I have the TV on Im while sleeping, what ever is going on in the show gets integrated into the dream. One time Xmen the animated series was on and HOLY SHIT! Fighting a hopeless battle against Apocalypse was one of the worst feelings I have ever felt. Even with the TV off I also get the weird dreams where people have conversations that pertain to nothing that I consciously knew about, almost like being show a story.

This reminds me of one real weird dream I had.

So I went to bed and in the dream a woke up in my bed. Everything looked normal because the way I tell myself I am awake and not in the dream world is that I wake up in my bed.. so I thought, I was awake for real. I walk outside to my liveing room and my brother is playing NES. Which is weird because I live in dorms and my brother doesn't live with us AND there is no TV in the living room. Then this man walks in.... long story short, he was a demon and wanted to take my brother away. The demon looked like a human in a coat but after looking close he was a Cardassian... which is weird because that is a race from Star Trek.. I don't watch that much Star Trek anymore. So I attacked him, he attacked back with this weird drill.. that became his right arm .. the drill had holes and from those holes snakes came out after drilling the target and the snakes bite the target.

Then I woke up again in my bed and walked out and the same thing happened but this time I ran up to my brother and asked him what happen to the demon? The demon walks in again and tells us to stop talking about him and forget. Then he walks away and I ran after him. I say "What is your name?" and he says "I am a demon, I can't tell you my true name but you can call me Rui the Takger Of the G..(I don't remember the G word). My job is to deliver your wish and take souls when you trade your soul to the devil. My other job is to make sure people don't learn of the wish and that no one has memory of this event because we demons and the devil don't want to be seen." I ask him why he looks like a Cardassian and he says "Because I look like a semi-evil character from your mind." and I said "Oh" and Takger runs off and I follow him but then he disapears. I run back into the house and run up to my brother and tell him to remember his name. So for the next 5mins in my dream and tell myself his name over and over "Rui the Takger" over and over but then I forget the last part.. the last part started with a "G" and it was "Rui the Takger of the G" I think the G stands for Genocide.

The funniest part of the dream is my brother is older then me but in the dream he looked like he was 10 but I could still tell it was him because of old pictures of him.

My dreams, those that I remember, are like random acid trips.

Actually, not all. Last night I dreamt that I got rejected by a beautiful girl that I am planning on asking out tomorrow... I know it's crazy but now I am paranoid!

::Sits back and enjoys the view at the inner view of fellow CAGer's psyches...::

Yeah. I have...disturbing dreams. I have had multiple friends separately ask me to never share them ever again. My dreams are also very detailed and very rarely random; they tend to follow a plot from begining to end and I usually have great recall when I wake up. (Of course, I suffer from sleep apnea pretty bad, so I rarely fall into a deep, deep sleep.)

I love the little bizarre bits my dreams will sometimes have. Such as one dream, I was at a Best Buy in Oklahoma and the locals were complaining that Texas is known for so many things, but all people know about Oklahoma is "that dumb play." Or later in the same dream, a guy fell into a "jerkifying machine" and shriveled up to about 8 lbs, so I decided to make him a souvenier and had to run through the airport, ala OJ, to get him on the plane.

::Goes back to planning his trip to Oklahoma next year::

The worst dreams are when you win alot of $$ or cool electronics only to wake up a realize it was a dream. I remember I dreamt I won $8.6 billion and I was telling the news crew I was going to buy 5 million dollars in toys for Penny Arcades child's play charity. Work up sad, thank God the children will never know.

I usually dream three or four nights a week. And I really enjoy them. Though, most of them I end up dying...usually in a heroic way. Maybe my mind is telling me if I ever try the heroics, I know what's going to happen to me!

My dreams usually dont have an ending more of an "insinuated ending" like a make your own ending dream so to speak where itll end right as something happens and leaves it up to the imagination. Last night it ended with a train of hundreds of camp kids being dragged into a fiery hell. Interested in hearing the full story:D?

So the whole dream kind of focused around some weird demonic hell summer camp where things were kinda normal but at the same time kinda weird and creepy. When i woke up i was thinking it was sorta at the same level as a goosebumps book by rl stine but anyway so as the campers are going home via train the dream follows the train as it goes along its route and finally gets to a smokey fog filled area. The last thing i remember "hearing" was a kid saying "Were almost to the kingdom of oblivion" haha I dont know where that comes from cause i dont even own that game. But then as the train travels through the smoke all of a sudden there was a flash of fire and more demonic hell creatures and the train starts plunging downhill and theres a bunch of screaming and then i woke up. Kinda creepy even now. For some reason most of my dreams end up with screaming.

I have always noticed excellent directing in my dreams. But also, if you dont remember it exactly, its possible that a quality of the dream is ITSELF fictional and part of the dream.

Ex: You wake up and you believe that the place in your dream is a place you've visited in a dream before. However, that is not the case. Part of the dream is feeding you that you've visited this place before in another dream, but it is actually false.

My dreams are very vivid, and lately have been involving my life in the Army. It's been weird. Unfortunately, I'm a very logical thinker, so all my dreams end up being based in some sort of reality - ie, no flying, etc.

I once had recurring nightmares where I couldn't scream for help from an intruder, and I was being chased by tornadoes. Now I just dream real alternate close-reality type.

One day you are gonna get confused... then whats gonna happen? I think we have all een confused between mind and reality ateast once... you should just do the fall flat on your face... no pain... its fake. Most of the time when I kill myself it is with unreal powers or flying into the ground. Sometimes I stab myself in the chest like a Samurai.. to bad I don't have a real sword because I could get confused and do it for real. Oh and this one time, I jumped into death from the monster in my nightmare. I been eaten by a T-Rex not because I fall over or something but because I ran at it and wanted to be. heh... basicly, let the nightmare monster win and kill you! haha "I give up, I am to lazy to run away in my dream." ;)

That would work, but some people may not want to, you know kill themselves... even if it is in a dream. So I've found that the simplest way is to just close your eyes and suddenly jerk your head a bit (i.e. I Dream of Jeanie) and you'll wake up. Also, getting too excited, or scared, or yelling that it's a dream works as well. The main thing you want to do to wake up is to not go along with the dream. If your sub-conscious can tell you're not going along with it, it's going to terminate the dream asap.
