Was in Wal-Mart today, saw the complete season 4 of the newer TMNT animated series. After reading the description on the back and muttering several "What the hell?" and "When did this happen?" I started to wonder what happened to the complete box sets of seasons 1-3?

I remember some time ago they had a season 1 box set with four mini TMNT figures and that was pretty much it for sets. The last episode I saw had something to with some fighting tournament and they were finally introducing Usagi Yogimbo (probably spelled wrong, but it's the rabbit guy) to the new series. May have seen an ep or two with Kari

Thanks,
-Brian

Looking on Amazon, Best Buy, and Wherehouse I think that the first 2 seasons were released as 14 different volumes each one having 3 or 4 episodes on it. The entirety of Season 4 was released for the same price as each volume though.

EDIT: There was also 7 Volumes of Series 3. Those are Season 3.

EDIT2: According to TV.com each season has had about 25 episodes (including Season 4), yet the Season 4 DVD is only 14 episodes.

I don't remember any complete set to seasons 1-3, although there was a box set to season 1 you mentioned.

This series is fantastic imo. Sounds like you were watching the Battle Nexus story arc.

The first 3 have been released for the last several years. The "seasons" are sets of only a few episodes, however. The sets have all run about 12$.

Season 4 was not shown on television, to my understanding. This season was completed when it was decided that the show would be taking a new direction. This is their way of making the episodes available to fans, and does break the method in which they have been releasing the DVDs. There is no "true" box set to any of the other seasons.

Okay, I have to assume you guys are talking about the new TMNT series, since the 80s cartoon has been released as season boxes from the beginning.

TMNT Fast Forward is pretty dull

That's Season 5 that is supposed to have the dvd only release. I dunno when that is coming out but some episodes are already on youtube.

You are a kind kind man.

I hate the new series for two main reasons, they changed the song to this terrible thing, and second is that most of the show takes place on other planets. I hate that, I hate the aliens and thus why I also hate the "new" new series Fast Forward.

No, they're not hardly season boxes. Those are just 12 episode volumes.

That's what I assumed we were talking about--- forgot about the new series. ;-)

The new show is already on? When did it start? What channel? And kind of a weird question, but if it's not on a cable/sat station, which local channel in GA is airing it?

Yes, I've read the other posts denouncing Fast Forward, but I'd rather see it myself, so I too can be outraged and dismayed, and throw things at the TV.

Thanks,
-Brian who's best guess would be Cartoon Network

A quick Yahoo TV search reveals it airs on FOX, Sat @ 11AM, in my area. Probably the same everywhere?
